Claims (11)
- A fitting (10) with a seal (12), which is disposed on a side facing a locating surface (28), against which the fitting (10) is bearing, and seals an area, for example an intermediate space (32) between the fitting (10) and a, in particular smooth, locating surface (28), the seal (12), in the stage of plasticity, being connected to the fitting (10) or to a part of the fitting (10) and being shaped, characterized in that the seal (12), with a T-shaped area (38), is anchored in the fitting (10) in a groove (34) and has in particular undercuts for this purpose, and in that the seal (12) surrounds an exterior border (36) of the fitting (10) with an L-shaped exterior area (40) adjoining the T-shaped area (38).
