Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for producing a Wraps of printed products, each with a difference in thickness between opposite edge areas exists, using a rotatable winding core and at least one winding belt and a conveyor, which, in order to form the roll, the printed products in the shingled stream feeds the winding core.
- Methods of the type mentioned are known and enable rolling up and returning printed products, for example Newspapers, magazines, sheets or newspaper inserts of any kind.
- Form the rolled-up printed products a wrap, manually or automatically in a warehouse can be stored. This is in particular a decoupling printing and shipping possible.
- the printed products to be wound each have a difference in thickness between opposing edge regions and these edge regions run parallel to the edges of the roll, there is the difficulty that the two side surfaces of the roll have different diameters.
- the winding is therefore more or less conical, which can affect the stability of the winding.
- Such a wrap can take up fewer printed products than a wrap where this difficulty does not exist.
- the invention also relates to a roll of printed products and a device for producing a winding Printed products.
- the object of the invention is a further method or a winding to reduce the above To provide difficulties.
- the task is with one Method according to the invention solved according to claim 1.
- the inventive winding or the inventive device the solution to the stated problem results the features of the corresponding independent claims.
- a winding according to the invention is less conical and therefore more cylindrical and therefore more stable than a wrap without one such material distribution. Because of the higher stability can a winding according to the invention with more printed products and a larger diameter than before. The transport of a winding according to the invention is safer and also unwinding more trouble-free.
- the device according to the invention is characterized in that that means are provided with which the scale layers on the feed path to the wrap for lateral distribution the printed products can be moved back and forth.
- the side Distribution of the printed products can be tailored to the printed products be different and optimal to the above Differences in pressure must be coordinated.
- Figure 1 shows a winding device 1 with the Print products 18 a winding 19 can be formed. With the winding device 1 can also unwound a winding 19 become. Both when winding and when unwinding the printed products 18 are fed in or out in the shingled stream. When winding is at least one in a known manner Wrapping tape 20 ( Figure 2) co-wound. In the embodiment shown two winding tapes 20 are parallel to each other wrapped up. The winding tapes 20 are each on one end at a winding core 13 and at the other end attached a supply spool, not shown here.
- the winding roll 13 is mounted on a roll stand 12 and rotatable about a winding axis 14.
- the roll stand 12 can also be another frame and the winding core 13 can be hollow in a known manner.
- To print products 18 in the shingled stream on the winding core 13 is on a frame 25 pivotally mounted a rocker 4.
- This Rocker 4 has an endless belt 5, which is around two pulleys 8 and 10 and placed around a guide roller 9 is.
- the rocker 4 is around the axis 7 in a clockwise direction can also be pivoted counterclockwise.
- Using a cylinder piston unit 6 is used in the winding process as well Unwind the free end of the rocker 4 against the winding core 13 excited.
- the printed products 18 are driven Band 5 on the upper run 5a for winding in the direction of the arrow 22 essentially tangentially to the winding core 13 or the winding 19 supplied.
- the winding core 13 is here rotated counterclockwise in the direction of arrow 26 and here the printed products 18 are in the shingled stream with the interposition of the winding tapes 20 on the winding core 13 wound up.
- a conveyor line in the frame 25 2 for example in the form of an endless belt 2 arranged.
- This band 2 is placed around a deflection roller 3, which is arranged directly in front of the deflection roller 8, such as Figure 1 shows.
- the printed products are on conveyor line 2 18 preferably also arranged as a shingled stream 16.
- This conveyor section 2 is in accordance with FIG Directions of the double arrow 21 by means of a cylinder piston unit 15 or another drive device horizontally can be moved back and forth. This movement means that on the rocker 4, the printed products 18a in the shingled stream 17 with respect to other printed products 18b laterally or transversely are offset by a distance A from the conveying direction 22.
- the distance A can be different and is special dependent on the stroke of the cylinder-piston unit 15. By changing the stroke, the distance A in easily changed. Such a change is also possible during the winding process.
- the back and forth movement can be done so that the printed products 18 alternately on the rocker 4 according to FIG. 2 are offset.
- This movement can also be so that the printed products 18 'according to FIG 3 are arranged in a wave shape on the rocker 4.
- the stream of scales 17 ' is thus wavy according to this figure 3 and has an amplitude B.
- the printed products 18 can be on the conveyor line 2 can be moved back and forth immediately. Volume 2 as well the guide roller 3 are thus not moved and only the printed products 18 are wound on the belt 2 pushed here. For example, this can be done with one here not shown movable baffle.
- the printed products 18 are not indirect or is moved back and forth immediately, but that the winding core 13 or the winding 19 forming in the longitudinal directions of the winding axis 14 moved back and forth become. So basically the relative movement between The winding core 13 and printed products 18 are decisive. This Relative movement has the consequence that the printed products 18 in Longitudinal direction of the winding axis 14 on the winding core 13 or be distributed on the winding 19. This distribution is in Figure 4 is shown schematically.
- the printed products 18a are related to the Winding core 13 offset to the left while the printed products 18b are offset to the right.
- These printed products 18a and 18b each have an edge region 26 which is thicker than an open edge region 27.
- the above-mentioned transfer of the printed products ensures that that the thicknesses D of the edge regions 26 do not differ add up directly and thus the diameter of the edge 23 the side surface 28 is substantially the same as that Diameter of the edge 24 on the opposite side surface 29 of the winding 19.
- the thicker edge region 26 results for example due to a fold or / and by an insert, not shown here, in the printed product 18.
- cross-broken printed sheets have such thicker ones Edge areas 26.
- the distance shown in Figure 4 A is preferably in the range of about 1 cm to 5 cm.
- the distance A is the format of the printed products 18 and depending on the difference in thickness D and d. As before mentioned, this distance A can vary within the winding 19 and therefore be different.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for producing a Wraps of printed products, each with a difference in thickness between opposite edge areas exists, using a rotatable winding core and at least one winding belt and a conveyor, which, in order to form the roll, the printed products in the shingled stream feeds the winding core.
Methods of the type mentioned are known and enable rolling up and returning printed products, for example Newspapers, magazines, sheets or newspaper inserts of any kind. Form the rolled-up printed products a wrap, manually or automatically in a warehouse can be stored. This is in particular a decoupling printing and shipping possible.
Durchmesser aufweisen.
If the printed products to be wound each have a difference in thickness between opposing edge regions and these edge regions run parallel to the edges of the roll, there is the difficulty that the two side surfaces of the roll have different diameters. The winding is therefore more or less conical, which can affect the stability of the winding. Such a wrap can take up fewer printed products than a wrap where this difficulty does not exist.
To avoid the above-mentioned difficulty, a generic method has become known in the prior art from the applicant's CH-A-682 657, in which the winding tape closest to the thick workpiece side is fed to the winding core in such a way that the distance of the spiral it forms from The larger the mentioned difference in thickness between the opposite edge regions of the workpieces, the greater the central plane of the winding intersecting the winding axis of rotation. This special winding of the winding tape is intended to ensure that a conical winding shape can be largely suppressed in the production of particularly large windings. With very large differences in thickness and with a large diameter of the winding, however, this method is not sufficient.
In the prior art to avoid the above Difficulties have been suggested. For example it was suggested that the winding tape be on the side offset to wrap or use a wrapping tape that is wider than the width of the shingled stream. Such solutions are particularly in the introduction to the description of the above-mentioned CH-A-682657.
The invention also relates to a roll of printed products and a device for producing a winding Printed products.
The object of the invention is a further method
or a winding to reduce the above

Method according to the invention solved according to
Through the back and forth movement of the scale layers or lateral displacement of the printed products on the reel distributes the material due to the thickness differences of the Print products are distributed unevenly. This material distribution on the wrap has the effect that the Side surfaces of the winding have the same diameter exhibit than in a winding without such a distribution. A winding according to the invention is less conical and therefore more cylindrical and therefore more stable than a wrap without one such material distribution. Because of the higher stability can a winding according to the invention with more printed products and a larger diameter than before. The transport of a winding according to the invention is safer and also unwinding more trouble-free.
An essential advantage of the invention is also seen in that previously known measures, such as the above-mentioned offset winding of the winding tape also is possible in the method or winding according to the invention.
Both measures, i.e. the distribution of the material according to the invention and the offset coiling of the winding tape, add up to a particularly effective suppression the conical winding shape.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that that means are provided with which the scale layers on the feed path to the wrap for lateral distribution the printed products can be moved back and forth. The side Distribution of the printed products can be tailored to the printed products be different and optimal to the above Differences in pressure must be coordinated.

Figure 1 shows a
13 aufgewickelt. The
In front of the
The back and forth movement can be done so that

Figur 4 schematisch dargestellt.Alternatively, the printed
Die Druckprodukte 18a sind wie ersichtlich bezüglich des
Wickelkerns 13 nach links versetzt, während die Druckprodukte
18b nach rechts versetzt sind. Diese Druckprodukte
18a und 18b weisen jeweils einen Kantenbereich 26 auf, der
dicker ist als ein offener Kantenbereich 27.As can be seen, the printed
Insbesondere weisen kreuzgebrochene Druckbogen solche dikkeren
The above-mentioned transfer of the printed products ensures that
that the thicknesses D of the
