Bei einem Mascara-Bürstchen, wobei eine Mehrzahl von Borsten zwischen zwei verdrillten Drahtabschnitten beiderseits von diesen abstehend festgelegt ist, und wobei die Fasern einen unrunden Querschnitt aufweisen, ist zur Verbesserung der Transfereigenschaften für die Mascara-Flüssigkeit vorgesehen, daß ausgehend von zunächst in herkömmlicher Weise extrudierten Fasern (1, 2) mindestens zwei derartige Fasern (1, 2) in Längsrichtung linienförmig oder punktförmig miteinander verbunden sind.
