Description

The invention relates to a device for emptying liquids filled containers, in particular canisters and barrels with one in one Clamp opening of the container fixable adapter, with one in the container pointing suction lance and a degassing device, as well as with a coupling piece that can be connected to the adapter for connection a suction device.

Such devices for emptying barrels filled with liquids and canisters are known in practice in various embodiments. In these known devices, the suction lances are provided The adapter is firmly pressed or injected into the bung openings of the containers. There the containers cannot be completely emptied via the suction lances always a residual amount of liquid in the containers.

To ensure proper disposal of, for example, chemicals or To be able to manage containers filled with dangerous goods, it is after the For this reason, the suction lance and if necessary, parts of the suction device that can be connected to it with the aid of Remove tools from the bung opening. Since the adapters are fluid or are injected liquid-tight into the bung openings, the removal of the Adapters a very time-consuming and therefore expensive job. In addition, is a unwanted product contact with the contaminated suction lance when removing of the adapter almost impossible.

Proceeding from this, the invention is based on the technical problem, a Device for emptying containers filled with liquids type mentioned in such a way that it is simple and a complete emptying of the container allows, without the risk there is that the user comes into contact with the contaminated suction lance.

The solution to this problem is characterized in that the adapter has a predetermined breaking point surrounding the connection of the suction lance, via which the suction lance can be pressed into the interior of the container.

By forming the predetermined breaking point in the area of the connection of the Suction lance to the adapter is the one designed according to the invention Device possible after emptying the container via the suction lance push them into the inside of the container so as to remove the liquid residue to be able to empty from the container through the re-opened bung opening. Because it is not necessary to remove the suction lance from the container, in this embodiment, the risk that the operator is minimized this device in contact with the liquid in the container comes.

According to a special embodiment of the invention, the predetermined breaking point formed as the connection of the suction lance coaxial surrounding row of holes. On the one hand, this formation of the predetermined breaking point is very technical in terms of production easy to implement and also enables easy triggering the predetermined breaking point for pressing the suction lance into the container.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the predetermined breaking point formed simultaneously as a degassing device. This Degassing devices are used, on the one hand, from the liquid to let escaping gases escape from the container and on the other hand when aspirating the liquid via the one connected to the suction lance To let a corresponding air volume flow into the suction device and to avoid the creation of a vacuum inside the container. at the device according to the invention can be used for this degassing or fumigation the perforation surrounding the connection point of the suction lance Target breaking point take place.

The illustration in FIG. 1 shows a canister 2 provided with a handle 1 for Storage of liquids. The canister 2 can be opened via a bung 3 Be filled with liquid.

To empty the canister 2, a plug is inserted into the bung opening 3 Duck device 4 used, which is explained in more detail below. This The emptying device 4 essentially consists of a plug opening 3 adapter 5 that can be inserted in a fluid-tight manner and one that can be connected to adapter 5 Coupling piece 6 for connecting a suction device. On the one Opening in the union nut 6b of the coupling piece 6 projecting part of a connector 6a, the suction port 9 can be placed ..

As shown in the exploded structure of FIG Emptying device 4 can be seen, it points into the bung opening 3 Adapter 5 to be used next to the one to be inserted into the bung opening 3 Edge 5a has a pot-shaped middle part 5b, the deepest point of which is towards the inside of the Canister 2 is directed. At this lowest point of the middle part 5b of the Adapter 5, a suction lance 7 is connected to the adapter 5, which in the The interior of the canister 2 is used to empty the canister 2. While to transport the canister 2 also with the inserted in the bung 3 Adapter 5 are closed by a - cap, not shown can, which is tightly screwed onto an external thread 3a of the bung 3 can be, the adapter 5 for emptying the canister 2 with a Coupling piece 6 connected. This consists of a connector 6a and a union nut 6b, which on the external thread 3a Bung hole 3 can be screwed on.

To ensure a fluid-tight connection of the connector 6a to the adapter 5 enable, the connector 6a on the outer jacket of the in Middle part 5b of the area 5 to be inserted, the insertion piece 6d, an O-ring 8. The connector 6a has a circumferential flange 6c, which rests on the edge 5a of the adapter 5 and a degassing bore 12 having. The large circumference of the flange 6c prevents that Connector 6a can get into the bung 3 of the canister 2. The Degassing bore 12 also enables the canister 2 to be degassed and degassed then when the coupling piece 6 is screwed tight.

Through the union nut 6b, which rests on the circumferential flange 6c the connector 6a of the coupling piece 6 when screwing onto the External thread 3a of the bung 3 sealingly clamped with the adapter 5.

The pointing away from the canister 2 free end of the connector 6a Coupling piece 6 is designed so that a suction device 9, for example, a cleaner pump can be connected.

If the container, not shown, is cleaned after emptying and its bung opening should be completely exposed, it is very cumbersome, the parts of the emptying device 4 from the bung 3 bring out. This is primarily due to the fact that the edge 5a of the fairly stable adapter 5 is injected into the bung opening 3 in a fluid-tight manner. This is hardly without destroying the bung opening and only with very special ones Tools possible.

This situation is complete with the proposed bouncing suction lance 7 solved differently. As can be seen from Fig. 3, the connection is coaxial Suction lance 7 on the middle part 5b of the adapter 5 a predetermined breaking point 10 educated. In the illustrated embodiment, the intended weakening of the material through perforation along the predetermined breaking line. This can also be achieved through non-destructive weakening or at a distance cuts made from each other. As in Fig. 3 by the arrow 11 indicated, the middle part 5b of the adapter provided with the suction lance 7 5, for example with an object or thumb D, in the canister 2 be pushed in. When the central part 5b is pressed, the perforation tears along the predetermined breaking point 10 and the bung opening 3 is almost full cross-section released so that after pressing in the middle part 5b the adapter 5 of the canister 2 completely emptied and then can be disposed of properly.

In addition to the formation of the predetermined breaking point 10, the illustrated Perforation also functions as a degassing device because the holes or small openings formed along the predetermined breaking line the liquid escaping gases can escape from the canister 2 and the formation of a negative pressure in the canister 2 when the liquid is sucked off is prevented by the suction lance 7 that one of the withdrawn amount corresponding air volume can flow.

The embodiment shown in Fig. 3 has concentrically in the adapter 5 a circular opening of the pot-like middle part 5b. In this opening the lower cylindrical region of the connector 6a, the plug-in piece 6d inserted, the in the outer jacket of the insert 6d arranged O-ring 8 sealing the inner shell of the pot-like middle part 5b invests. The circular cross-sectional shape of the system made of pot-like Middle part 5b and plug 6d of the connector 6a can be in one advantageous embodiment can also be designed as an access guard. For example, it is possible to use certain geometric cross-sectional shapes assign certain products. For example, a circular one Cross section for product A, a rectangular cross section for product B, a square cross-section can be chosen for the product C, etc., so that to the user through the cross-sectional shape of the pot-like middle part 5b is what liquid is in canister 2. It is also suitable this design of the system middle part 5b / 6d insert as so-called Lock-out arrangement with which the use of the supplied system parts for prevent or at least greatly prevent the use of products from other manufacturers make difficult.

In Fig. 4 the container according to FIG. 3 is shown, which with the closure A suitable cover cap is prepared for transport. This Cap is advantageously designed as a so-called degassing cap, that is, it has an opening in the lid through a fleece inserted into the cap is liquid-tight, but sealed with degassing. It goes without saying itself that the internal thread of the cover cap that of the union nut 6b corresponds and fits on the external thread 3a of the bung 3.

An emptying device 4 designed in this way thus simply delivers handling possibility to empty canister 2 completely without for this purpose, the adapter 5, which is pushed into the bung opening 3 with the aid of Tools would have to be removed from the bung opening 3. By the mere Pressing the middle part 5b of the adapter 5 into the interior of the canister 2 also minimizes the risk of an operator contacting the liquid comes.
