Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung mit einer Gasentladungslampe (10),

  • mit einer ersten mit der Gasentladungslampe (10) in Reihe geschalteten Drossel (26), welche dazu ausgebildet ist, den Strom (iL) durch die Gasentladungslampe (10) auf einen ersten Strom (Fig. 7) zu begrenzen,
  • welcher einer hohen Leistung der Gasentladungslampe (10) entspricht,
  • mit einer zweiten, mit der Gasentladungslampe (10) in Reihe geschalteten Drossel (28), welche dazu ausgebildet ist, in Verbindung mit der ersten Drossel (26) den Strom (iL) durch die Gasentladungslampe (10) auf einen zweiten Strom (Fig. 6) zu begrenzen, der einer niedrigen Leistung der Gasentladungslampe (10) entspricht,
  • und mit einem steuerbaren Halbleiter-Leistungssteller (30), welcher zur zweiten Drossel (28) parallelgeschaltet ist und im eingeschalteten Zustand,
  • abhängig von dem an ihm eingestellten Strom, einen Strom (ith) über diesen Halbleiter-Leistungssteller (30) an der zweiten Drossel (28) vorbeifließen lässt und dadurch eine Einstellung des Stroms (iL) durch die Gasentladungslampe (10) im Bereich zwischen erstem und zweitem Strom ermöglicht.
