In addition to the side wall 4 'with the presentation panel 12, which with the Deflection devices, such as the deflection device 16, the locking plate 27 and the holes 7 'is provided, the other side walls are corresponding designed. The deflection device 16 is supported by lateral holders 29, 30 held, which are attached to the presentation board 12 and by means of Protrusions form guides for the locking plate 27. From this figure are also the curves of the guide channels 26 and the position of the magnets 14 too detect.

Claims

Display stand (1) having at least one vertical or upwardly extending display wall (3, 4, 12) for displaying articles (8), more especially watches or items of jewellery, the display wall (3, 4, 12) having a plurality of holes (7) each with a diameter which is smaller than the width of the article, each article (8) being connected by means of a filament (17), which is guided through one of the holes, to an associated, cylindrical weight (18), which is disposed in the display stand (1), at one longitudinal end of said filament, and the filament (17) being guided via a guiding device (16) disposed in the vicinity of each hole (7) on the display wall (12), characterised in that

the holes (7, 7') have a larger cross-section than the weight (18),

the guiding device (16) is provided with an upwardly extending guide channel (25), which is round in cross-section, for guiding the filament (17) and the weight (18) and

between guiding device (61) and display wall (12) there is disposed a blocking plate (27), which is displaceable in a plane lying parallel to the plane of the display wall and is provided with holes (24), the positions of which correspond to those of the holes (7, 7') in the display wall (12).
Display stand according to claim 1, where the guiding device is formed for a horizontal row of holes in the display wall, characterised in that the guiding device (16) comprises a base plate (19) and a cover (20) which is placed onto this base plate and includes the guide channels (26).
Display stand according to claim 2, characterised in that the cover has a substantially straight upper portion (21) and a substantially straight lower portion (22), the upper portion (21) being inclined towards the interior of the stand by an angle of 30° with reference to the vertical, the upper portion (21) passing over into the lower portion (22) via a curvature (23) and the lower portion (22) being inclined towards the display wall (12) by an angle of 10° with reference to the vertical.
Display stand according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the displacement of the blocking plate (27) is effected by means of a lock (9), which is disposed on the display stand and is accessible from the exterior.
Display stand according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the blocking plate (27) is provided for all holes (7') in the display stand (12).
Display stand according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the holes (7') in the display stand (12) are formed by bushes (25) secured in the same.
Display stand according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the display stand is formed by a multi-sided column (1, 1'), which is provided on at least one side with the display wall (12).
