Description

The present invention relates to fireworks and in particular a method of illuminating particular patterns with a firework.
Etat de la techniqueState of the art
Fireworks are usually fired on the occasion of a celebration or to commemorate a holiday such as the national holiday of July 14.
We therefore thought that it would be judicious that during a fireworks display, we could pass on a message, however brief, addressed to someone in particular or to remind an audience of an event. Until now, the method implemented consists in making on a panel the message to be passed in the form of "decoration spears" consisting in forming on the panel the outline of the letters of the message using Bengal lights all connected by a wick. When the wick is lit, the letters of the message light up and can thus be read at night by spectators. Unfortunately, this process is long to implement and runs the risk of starting a fire. In addition, only the outline of the letters of the message is illuminated.
Exposé de l'inventionStatement of the invention
This is why the object of the invention is to carry out a method of implementing a firework in which the illumination of a pattern is carried out in a simple and risk-free manner. The main object of the invention is therefore a method of illuminating a pattern in a firework in which the pattern is on a panel located between a pyrotechnic piece and the spectators, and made bright by lighting of the firework.
According to a characteristic of the invention, the panel on which is the pattern formed of translucent portions is made of a material comprising cells playing the role of light boxes.
Brève description des figuresBrief description of the figures
The aims, objects and characteristics of the invention will emerge more clearly on reading the description which follows, given with reference to the drawings in which:
la figure 1 représente schématiquement un mode de réalisation mettant en oeuvre le procédé selon 1 ' invention,FIG. 1 schematically represents an embodiment implementing the method according to the invention,
- la figure 2 représente un panneau en forme de coeur utilisé pour la mise en oeuvre de l'invention,FIG. 2 represents a heart-shaped panel used for the implementation of the invention,
- la figure 3 représente schématiquement un mode de réalisation du procédé selon l'invention utilisant trois panneaux juxtaposés entourant complètement la pièce pyrotechnique, et la figure 4 est une coupe du matériau utilisé de préférence pour réaliser les panneaux utilisés dans la mise en oeuvre de l'invention.- Figure 3 shows schematically an embodiment of the method according to the invention using three juxtaposed panels completely surrounding the pyrotechnic part, and Figure 4 is a section of the material preferably used to make the panels used in the implementation of the 'invention.
Description détaillée de l'inventionDetailed description of the invention
A.As illustrated in FIG. 1, the system implementing the principles of the invention consists of a pyrotechnic piece 10 deposited on a support 12 fixed to the ground, and of a panel 14 secured to the support 12 by a fixing 16. Panel 14 is for the most part opaque, except for a translucent portion 18 represented in this case by the capital letter A. The panel 14 being arranged so as to be between the pyrotechnic part 10 and the spectators of the fireworks, when the pyrotechnic part 10 is lit, the bright light released by the latter illuminates the rear of the panel 14 and therefore makes the translucent portion 18 of the panel, ie the A, luminous.
The panel 14 can have any shape, rectangular, square, circular, etc., and can be of any size without departing from the scope of the invention. The translucent portion 18 can also take various forms. In most cases, the translucent portion will be made up of letters, words or expressive sentences such as, for example, the initials of a person, his first name, his name, "WELCOME", "CHRISTMAS", or even "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" .
The distance separating the pyrotechnic part from the panel obviously depends on the size of the latter. Thus, the distance can vary between 1 m and 5 m for a panel whose main dimension varies from 2 m to 10 m.
Un exemple de réalisation est illustré sur la figure 2 où le panneau 20 a la forme d'un coeur et la portion translucide 22 est formée des initiales UM.An exemplary embodiment is illustrated in FIG. 2 where the panel 20 has the shape of a heart and the translucent portion 22 is formed of the initials UM.
In the case where the panel does not have too large a dimension, as is the case of the panel 20 of FIG. 2, the light due to the pyrotechnic part being behind the panel creates an illumination of the periphery of the panel due to the diffusion 24 of the light by the edge and thus makes it possible to highlight a particular shape like here a heart.
Il est bien entendu possible de disposer de 4, 5 ou plus de panneaux juxtaposés autour de la pièce pyrotechnique .Another embodiment of the invention is illustrated in FIG. 3 where the panel has three faces 30, 32, 34, closing around the pyrotechnic part. When the pyrotechnic piece is lit, at least one translucent portion such as the portion 36 of the front panel, is visible to spectators who would have placed themselves all around the site where the fireworks are lit. In the case illustrated in the figure, all the translucent portions are identical, but one can very well envisage different patterns for each of the three panels. We can also provide to rotate the support 38 so as to slowly rotate all three panels during the time when the firework is on. It is of course possible to have 4, 5 or more panels juxtaposed around the pyrotechnic part.
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the panel has the structure shown in section in FIG. 4. It is formed by two walls 40 and 42, not very thick, parallel, joined by partitions 44, 46 and 48 similarly. thickness as the partitions 40 and 42, so as to form cells of square or rectangular shape. The material constituting the walls and partitions is translucent, preferably white (but it could be of another color), so that the cells constitute light boxes by the scattering of light. To form the final panel, at least one of the faces of the panel is covered with an opaque coating (obtained by painting, serigraphy or other) except on the portion to be illuminated while the rest of the panel remains opaque when the pyrotechnic part is on.
Without departing from the scope of the invention, it is possible to replace the panel structure illustrated in FIG. 4 by any other structure exercising the function of a light box diffusing the light almost uniformly on one side when the other side is illuminated. by a light source.
