Abstract

Der strombegrenzende Schalter (S) weist eine zur Aufnähme von Nennstrom (IN) bestimmte lichtbogenfesten Kontaktanordnung (K1) einer ersten Schaltstelle (S1) und zwei parallel zur ersten Schaltstelle (S1) geschalteten Kommutierungspfade (P1 und P2) auf. Der erste Kommutierungspfad (P1) enthält in Serie eine Kontaktanordnung (KT) einer zweiten Schaltstelle (ST) und eine leistungselektronische Schaltvorrichtung (T). Der zweite Kommutierungspfad (P2) enthält in Serie eine Schaltvorrichtung (SA) und ein strombegrenzendes Element (RB). Die Kontaktanordnungen (K1 und KT) sind koaxialsymmetrisch ausgebildet und in einem druckfesten Gehäuse (G) angeordnet. Beide Schaltstellen verfügen über sehr rasch öffnende und schliessende elektrodynamische Antriebe.
Dank der äusserst platzsparenden, koaxialen Anordnung der Kontaktanordnungen können unerwünschte Streuinduktivitäten vermieden werden. Dies ermöglicht ein sehr schnelles Ein- und Ausschalten des strombegrenzenden Schalters.
