- a shoe according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from patent FR 2,649,594.
- the collar is provided with a reinforcement consisting of a relatively rigid plate attached to adjustable and removable way on the inner side of the necklace.
- This plate is made of synthetic material, but could be made of metal or fiberglass or carbon. It aims to improve the quality of the transmission of the lateral force of the leg to the ski to improve skis control. For the rest, this shoe behaves like a shoe not provided with reinforcement, in particular as regards footwear and heaving.
- the present invention aims at a different purpose. She has aim of improving comfort and facilitating the donning and unhooking the shoe without wearing damage to the performance of the shoe, that is to say to its dynamic characteristics.
- the invention consists in the manufacture of a shoe using soft materials so comfortable, whose dynamic characteristics, in particular the taking of support towards the interior and towards forward and flexion, are modified by the addition reinforcement.
- the shoe according to the invention is defined at claim 1.
- Another important advantage of the invention is the possibility, from a minimum flexibility of the hull, for example 54 Shore D, and a necklace relatively flexible, to make shoes of different rigidities by the addition of a reinforcement more or less rigid. This facilitates in a big way measures inventory management.
- the side inside the upper edge of the hull presents a V-notch and the reinforcing element present, on its inner face, a wedge-shaped protrusion to engage, in the closed position of the shoe, in the notch in V.
- the notch in V has the effect of facilitate the opening of the hull for the boot, the wedge-shaped protrusion of the reinforcing element remove that extra flexibility once floor.

All these parts are injected parts, for example in polyurethane with the addition of an additive so as to to obtain a greater or less rigidity, this of well known way.
- the material of the shell 1 has, for example, a stiffness of 54 Shore D, which is approximately the minimum hardness for this application.
- the necklace 4 is relatively flexible, while the reinforcing element 7 has a higher stiffness than the hull 1.
- the reinforcing element 7 extends over a little more than the half of the perimeter of the collar 4. It is provided with the front, a nipple 8 coming to fit, from the inside of the necklace 4, in a hole 9 of this necklace and, the back of a second nipple 10 coming to fit into a hole 11 provided in the back of the necklace 4.
- the element of reinforcement 7 therefore extends on each side of the hole 11, so that it comes to partially surround the bottom calf.
- the reinforcing element 7 has on its face interior, a protrusion 12 in the shape of an angled corner substantially vertically.
- This protrusion 12 is consisting of an extra thickness of the material of the reinforcing element.
- the upper edge of the shell 1, the corresponding side inside the foot has a notch 13 also V-shaped geometrically similar to the shape of the protrusion 12 and of substantially the same extent.
- Notch 13 has the effect of increasing the capacity of deformation of the upper part of the shell 1 and therefore, to facilitate the fitting and removing the shoe by releasing the flaps of shell.
- the notch 13 is occupied by the protrusion 12 so that the shell becomes indeformable and that flexibility is strongly scaled down.
- the reinforcing element 7 has a lower, thinned portion 7a surrounding the upper edge of the hull 1. Above this part thinned, the reinforcing element 7 has a zone relatively thick 7b coming from a frontal support against the upper edge 14 of the shell 1 so as to ensure continuity of the inner face 15 of the shell. In addition, above the lower edge of the part 7a, the hull is thinning slightly and it is the same with the necklace 4. A certain continuity total thickness is thus ensured in the superposition area of the hull, collar and the reinforcing element.
- the shoe is of course provided with means of conventional tightening such as loops, as well as an inner comfort slipper.
- the angle of the notch 13 could be larger than the angle formed by the projection 12 and the remaining space between at least one side of the notch 13 and the protrusion could be filled an elastomeric material.
- the angle of the notch 13 could be enlarged only forward, so that the elastomer would be only in front of the protrusion, thus giving some elasticity to the collar during flexion of the leg.
- FIG. 3 represents an execution variant in which the projection 12 is replaced by a pin 16 and the notch V 13 is replaced by a light 17 cut in the shell 2, in a circular arc centered on the joint 5.
- the anterior part of this light 17 is occupied by an elastomeric material 18, such as rubber, leaving free a hole 19 in which just engage the nipple 16 when closing the necklace.
- the elastic material 18 gives the collar greater flexibility.
- Light 17 could be replaced by a hole corresponding to the hole 19.

Description
The present invention relates to a ski boot according to claim 1.
A shoe according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from patent FR 2,649,594. In this shoe, the collar is provided with a reinforcement consisting of a relatively rigid plate attached to adjustable and removable way on the inner side of the necklace. This plate is made of synthetic material, but could be made of metal or fiberglass or carbon. It aims to improve the quality of the transmission of the lateral force of the leg to the ski to improve skis control. For the rest, this shoe behaves like a shoe not provided with reinforcement, in particular as regards footwear and heaving.
frontale servant d'appui tibial.
From
From EP-A-0302 414, there is also known a so-called "rear entry" ski boot, that is to say presenting two pieces of approximately semi-cylindrical articulated on a hull and coming apply respectively on the front and back of the leg. The shoe further comprises a piece auxiliary, also in approximately semi-cylindrical shape and articulated on the hull, under the room before. This auxiliary piece forms tibial support and presents a particular form and means of mechanical connection with the front piece, which presents a slot of vertical elasticity, to allow modify the flexibility of the shoe in flexion before. We know, however, that entry shoes backward do not show comparable performance to those collared type shoes making the subject of the present invention.
The present invention aims at a different purpose. She has aim of improving comfort and facilitating the donning and unhooking the shoe without wearing damage to the performance of the shoe, that is to say to its dynamic characteristics. In others terms, the invention consists in the manufacture of a shoe using soft materials so comfortable, whose dynamic characteristics, in particular the taking of support towards the interior and towards forward and flexion, are modified by the addition reinforcement.
La chaussure selon l'invention est définie à la revendication 1.The shoe according to the invention is defined at claim 1.
In this way, it is possible to perform a shoe whose shell is relatively flexible and comfortable, support on the inside and tibial support being ensured by the reinforcement piece, when the collar is closed. When the collar is open for the boot or the heaving, it releases the flexibility of the hull, so that it can be more easily paved and barefoot.
Another important advantage of the invention is the possibility, from a minimum flexibility of the hull, for example 54 Shore D, and a necklace relatively flexible, to make shoes of different rigidities by the addition of a reinforcement more or less rigid. This facilitates in a big way measures inventory management.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the side inside the upper edge of the hull presents a V-notch and the reinforcing element present, on its inner face, a wedge-shaped protrusion to engage, in the closed position of the shoe, in the notch in V. The notch in V has the effect of facilitate the opening of the hull for the boot, the wedge-shaped protrusion of the reinforcing element remove that extra flexibility once floor.
In addition, the reinforcement piece is advantageously lean frontally against the upper edge of the shell ensuring a continuity of thickness, as well a continuity of the inner side of the hull.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, un mode d'exécution de l'invention et une variante de celui-ci.The attached drawing represents, as an example, a embodiment of the invention and a variant thereof.
FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the hull, collar and reinforcing element.
La figure 2 est une vue en coupe verticale, à plus grande échelle, à travers l'une des articulations du collier sur la coque.FIG. 2 is a vertical sectional view, at most large scale, through one of the joints of the collar on the hull.
La figure 3 représente une variante d'exécution.Figure 3 shows an alternative embodiment.
(figure 2), et d'un élément de renfort 7.
The shoe shown is made of a shell 1
constituting, in known manner, the
1.The material of the shell 1 has, for example, a
stiffness of 54 Shore D, which is approximately the
minimum hardness for this application. The necklace 4
is relatively flexible, while the reinforcing
The reinforcing
dans l'encoche 13.The reinforcing
In FIG. 2, it can be seen that the reinforcing
The shoe is of course provided with means of conventional tightening such as loops, as well as an inner comfort slipper.
According to an alternative embodiment, the angle of the
collier. En flexion avant, le matériau élastique 18
confère au collier une plus grande flexibilité.FIG. 3 represents an execution variant in

correspondant au trou 19.
