Definitions
- the present invention relates to a packaging for the packaging and presentation on a shelf or shelf store of items grouped in batches.
- Packaging particularly in corrugated cardboard, is often used to package items which are then presented for sale on department store shelves again called linear.
- a first solution to put items on the shelves consists of opening the packaging, then transferring the items one by one to the offer shelf for sale. This solution takes time to handle important.
- the object of the invention is to provide packaging for the packaging and presentation on a shelf of articles grouped by lots, which is of a simple and economical structure, which is of a very practical use for operators putting items on the shelves, and which can allow the presentation for sale in different forms.
- the packaging it relates to, of the type having a general parallelepiped shape, in combination with a tray which, serving as supports for the articles, comprises a bottom delimited along three of its edges by three sides, the fourth edge being free, and one cap which, intended to come to cover the articles and to be fixed on the tray, at least partially closes the packaging along the edge of this one having no side.
- the bottom of the tray is shaped rectangular, and the edge without side is oriented in the direction of the width.
- the tray is made of cardboard and the cap is made of cardboard. It is thus possible to make different uses of this packaging.
- the operator can separate the cap from the tray, which gives access to the articles which remain supported by the tray.
- the tray is positioned on a spoke with its edge having no side transverse consumer-oriented. If, on the contrary, the side transverse of the tray has, on its outer face, a sign identification of the items packaged in the packaging, the tray can be positioned with the items it supports, with its side transverse turned to the consumer side.
- This transverse side constitutes a sales aid.
- the trader does not wish to keep the tray, after removing the cap, he places the tray on the shelf with the transverse side of the tray turned towards him, then, retaining the articles with one hand, he removes the tray by sliding with the other hand, ensuring in one movement the transfer of all the items packaged in the packaging of the tray on the shelf in question.
- the height of the cover corresponds to the height packaging, the cap being fitted inside the tray, and being fixed by points, for example by gluing, between the sides longitudinal of the tray and the longitudinal walls of the cap in contact with said sides.
- the operator just needs to slide your fingers between the cap and the tray, in the overlapping of these, to achieve the breaking of the fixing points by glue.
- the height of the cap corresponds to the height of the packaging, the cap being fitted the outside of the tray, the transverse wall of the cap located on the side of the tray comprising a lower part hollowed out in the shape of the side of the tray, so that this transverse wall of the cap and the transverse side of the tray are located in the same plane, the cap being fixed by points, for example by gluing, on the tray, at the level longitudinal edges of the tray.
- the cap can be made in different ways.
- the cap includes a bottom substantially the same surface as that of the tray extended by two panels of height and length corresponding to those of the cap, each panel being provided with two returns intended to each form a part of one of the transverse walls of the cap, the bottom comprising the along its two transverse edges two gluing tabs on the returns above, intended to ensure the holding of the cap in the mounted position.
- the cap is constituted by a American half-body, comprising four panels forming a belt, delimiting the four walls of the cap, each panel being provided with a extension, the four extensions assembled to each other forming the bottom of the cap.
- the tray has one side transverse of height equal to the height of the packaging, provided with two longitudinal returns, while the cap has the same structure as the tray, the bottom being however delimited by at least three sides, of which possibly a transverse side of the same height as the sides longitudinal, the tray and the cap being mounted head to tail and assembled by points, for example by gluing, between the sides of the tray and the longitudinal returns of the cap
- This solution is suitable if the products to be packaged are parallelepiped, and occupy the entire interior volume of packaging.
- the cap has on its upper side and along its vertical edges, on the side of the tray not having a transverse side, a precut allowing to tear off part of the upper face and the wall corresponding end of the cap.
- the cap consists of an American half-body in two parts arranged end to end, connected to each other in a breakable way, at least the part of the cap located on the open side of the tray being fixed by points, by example by gluing, on the longitudinal sides of the tray.
- points by example by gluing
- the cover consists of a film of heat-shrinkable synthetic material.
- the packaging shown in Figures 1 to 7 is intended for packaging of a batch of articles 2 of parallelepiped shape.
- This packaging made entirely of corrugated cardboard, includes a tray 3 and a cap 4.
- the tray 3 comprises a bottom 5 of rectangular shape, delimited along its two longitudinal edges by two sides 6 and along from one of its transverse edges by one side 7.
- the cover 4 comprises a bottom 8 substantially of the same surface as that of the bottom of the tray, extended by two panels 9 of height and length corresponding to those of the cap, each panel being provided with two returns 10, 12 each intended to form part of one of the transverse walls of the cap, including in the area of the tray without side transverse.
- the bottom 8 comprises, along its two transverse edges, two bonding tabs 11 on the returns 10, 12, intended to ensure the holding the cap in the mounted position.
- the headdress has, on its upper face, and along its vertical edges, side of the tray 3 having no transverse side, a precut 13.
- the cap is intended to fit around the articles, inside the tray 3.
- the cover is made integral with the tray 3 by at least two glue dots 14 arranged between the longitudinal sides of the tray and the longitudinal panels 9 of the cap, near the edge of the tray with no transverse side.
- the operator can remove the cover 4, by breaking the points of glue 14, as shown in figure 3.
- the transverse side 7 of the tray includes distinctive signs 15 of articles for sale, affixed on its external face.
- the items can be presented for sale inside the tray, the side transverse 7 of the tray being turned towards the consumer for their allow to see the identification signs of household products on the external face of the transverse side.
- the operator may not keep the tray for presenting items on the selling location.
- the side transverse of the tray being turned towards the front side of the spoke 16
- the operator can, by holding the batch of articles with one hand, remove the tray by sliding with the other hand, thus achieving the transfer in a single gesture of the entire batch of items from the tray to the Ray.
- the operator may not detach the cap from the tray, and remove the surface included the inside of the precut 13, thus freeing the end of the packaging located on the open side of the tray, as well as part of the face top of this package, as shown in Figure 7.
- the consumer can then take the products while they are still packed in the packaging.
- the same function could be performed in opening this end of the packaging by detaching the flaps or partial fragmentation of these.
- Figure 8 shows a variant of the packaging of Figures 1 to 7, in which the same elements are designated by the same references than before.
- the cap 4 covers the tray 3.
- the returns 10, 12 forming the transverse wall of the cap, located at the end of the tray having a transverse side 7, are cut to provide a recess in the shape of the side 7 of the tray, so that the returns 10, 12 of the cap are in alignment and substantially in the same plane as the transverse side 7 from the tray.
- the tray 3 has a transverse side 17, of height equal to the height of the packaging, provided with two longitudinal returns 18.
- the cap may have the same structure as the tray, or have four sides and in particular a transverse side 19 of weak height opposite its transverse side 17 of great height.
- the tray and the cap are mounted head to tail and assembled in points, for example by gluing, between the longitudinal sides 6 of the tray and the returns longitudinal 18 of the cap.
- the cover 4 is constituted by a half-body American in two parts 20 and 22 arranged end to end, connected to each other in a breakable manner, the part 22 of the cap located on the side open of the tray being fixed by dots of glue 14 on the sides longitudinal 6 of the tray.
- FIG. 11 represents a package comprising a tray 3 of the type described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7, and a cover 4 consisting of an American half-body in a single element comprising four panels 24, 25 forming a belt and delimiting the four walls of the cover, the panels 24, 25 being extended respectively by panels 26, 27, which are joined together to form the bottom of the box.
- the cap could be constituted by a heat-shrinkable film.
- the invention provides a great improvement to the existing technique by providing a packaging of simple and economical structure, since the quantity of cardboard is limited, in particular with regard to the production of the tray, of a very practical use for the operator, and susceptible of a plurality of different implementations.
- the invention is not limited only to embodiments of this packaging, described above by way of examples, on the contrary, it embraces all its variants. This is how that the shape of the packaged items is not necessarily parallelepiped, that the shape of the sides of the tray is not necessarily rectangular, and that the height of the sides of the tray can be more or less important, without leaving the part of the invention.
