    the lower edge (11) of the window pane (1) is associated with a contour (63, 63') whose cross-section lying parallel to the plane of the window pane (1) is formed as a segment of a circle wherein the height of the segment of the circle is fixed in dependence on the angular positions to be covered between the carrier (5) and the lower edge (11) of the window pane (1) and the contour (63, 63') is supported on a support surface (51) mounted on the carrier (5), and that the width (b) of the support surface (51) is measured so that the support point (A) with maximum tolerance deviations in the horizontal direction still rests on this support surface (51).
  7. Carrier according to claim 6 characterised in that the support surface (51) is flat.
  8. Carrier according to claim 6 or 7 characterised in that the areas of the carrier (5) adjoining the support surface (51) have a contour which falls down so that with angular deviations of the lower edge (11) of the pane from the ideal position there is no contact bearing on the contour of the adjoining areas (52.1, 52.2) of the carrier.
  9. Carrier according to one of claims 6 to 8 characterised in that the contour (63, 63') is a component part of a connecting part (6) which can be fixed, preferably stuck, in the area of the lower edge (11) of the window pane.
  10. Carrier according to claim 9 characterised in that the connecting part (6) has on each side a moulded circular round window bolt (62) whose centre (M) coincides with the centre (M') of the circular arc shaped contour (63, 63').
  11. Carrier according to claim 10 characterised in that the window bolt (62) is mounted in a window pane hole.
  12. Carrier according to at least one of the preceding claims 9 to 11 characterised in that the carrier (5) has on each side of the window pane (1) yokes (53.1, 53.2) wherein the connecting part (6) is mounted free of play between the support surface (51) and the yoke (53.1, 53.2).
  13. Carrier according to one of the claims 9 to 12, characterised in that the connecting part (6) is formed in two parts, wherein the separating point between the two parts is formed as a positive-locking connection which ensures their accurate positioning when the two parts are brought together.
  14. Carrier according to claim 13 characterised in that the positive locking connection is formed as rectangular cogs (7.1, 7.2).
  15. Carrier according to claims 1 and 6 characterised in that the contour (63'') of the carrier associated with the lower edge (11) of the pane rests on the support surface (51'), that a horizontally resilient fastening area formed as a bolt socket (26') is associated with one retaining arm (21'), and a retaining area which secures the position of the window bolt (62') in the vertical direction and allows a horizontally restricted movement is associated with the other retaining arm (22').
  16. Carrier according to one of claims 6 to 8 or claim 15 with a window pane (1) characterised in that the contour (63, 63') is moulded on the lower edge (11) of the window pane (1).
