Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Abgasrückführung an einer mittels Abgasturbolader aufgeladenen mehrzylindrigen Hubkolbenbrennkraftmaschine, die je Zylinder wenigstens ein Einlaßventil in einem mit einer Ladeluftsammelleitung verbundenen Einlaßkanal und wenigstens ein Auslaßventil in einem mit einer Abgassammelleitung verbundenen Auslaßkanal sowie eine Abgasrückführleitung zwischen Abgassammelleitung und Ladeluftsammelleitung aufweist.
Dabei sollte aufgabengemäß eine Lösung gefunden werden, die ohne die bisher üblichen AGR-Flatterventile auskommt und auch den Bauaufwand für das gesamte AGR-System wesentlich verringert. Erreicht wird dieses erfindungsgemäß dadurch, daß die Abgasrückführung nur während bestimmter Betriebsphasen der Brennkraftmaschine zugelassen wird und während solcher Abgasrückführ-Betriebsphasen nur das aus einem Zylinder (C1 bzw. C1/C7) einer Zylinderreihe (1a, 1b) ausgestoßene Abgas vollständig oder teilweise mit eingestellter Abgasrückführrate über die Abgasrückführleitung (9; 33) zur Ladeluftsammelleitung (2; 27) rückgeführt wird, diese Abgasrückführung dagegen außerhalb dieser Abgasrückführ-Betriebsphasen unterbunden und das aus dem, den Zylinder(n) (C1 bzw. C1, C7) ausgestoßene Abgas ebenso wie jenes der anderen Zylinder vollständig dem Abgasturbolader (6; 36) über die Abgassammelleitung (2; 27) zugeführt wird.
