Abstract

A case for rod-shaped objects has at least one receptacle, a closure part, and a first hinge, wherein the first hinge articulates the receptacle and the closure part relative to one another. The closure part can be folded relative to the receptacle about the first hinge into an open position in which the rod-shaped objects are accessible and forms a positioning support for the case to hold the case in an erect position when the case is placed onto a supporting surface. The closure part has a bottom closure part, a top closure part, and a second hinge, wherein the second hinge articulates the bottom closure part and the top closure part relative to one another so that the top closure part and the bottom closure part are foldable and pivotable relative to one another.

Description

The invention relates to a case for rod-shaped objects, in particular for writing, drawing, painting, marking or cosmetic pencils or devices, which consists of at least a quiver and a closure part, wherein both parts are hinged together.

From [1] U.S. Patent 1,939,824 is a set up known. In this cardboard case, the upper part of the cap is supported on a projection on the bottom part.
It is disadvantageous in such a case that a kind of "mousetrap" is set up, which automatically closes as soon as a pin is pulled out, since at the slightest movement, the upper part of the closure cap comes off the projection of the bottom part.
Further, it is to be regarded as disadvantageous that when lifting the closed, lying on a pad case, the unsecured upper part of the cap can open and the stored therein devices fall out.

Next is such a case from [2] DE-PS 3921781 (OT: 10.01.1991) known. The "hard plastic - case" shown here has a hinged lid which is rotatably mounted such that a guide pin slides when turning the lid in a guide groove, thereby enabling a supportive positioning of the lid is made possible. The removal position or the oblique position of the case results here by the design of the guide groove and the movement of the cover bearing herein. Overall, this is thus a relatively expensive case design with very limited positioning possibility.

From [3] JP-GM / AS 53-6516 (BT: 18.02.1978), it is also known, in a so-called "soft plastic case", to install a stiffening in the region of a closure part or a cap, thereby to obtain a downwardly folded closure part a support that an inclination of the case in a preferred Removal position allows. A lanyard should contribute in addition to the fixation of the removal position. Here, too, with a case that is in principle cheap, there is a relatively expensive solution, which is also unstable and does not give any secure fixation in the removal position.
With both cases it is also not clear if and how they can be filled automatically or automatically.

[4] US 1,939,824 describes a cardboard folding case, consisting of a quiver and hinged fasteners attached thereto.
A disadvantage of such a case is that the stop for the closure parts is a glued-on strip with a protruding cam, so that the edge of one closure part can be supported. Such a protruding cam strip, when the case is closed, causes the bottom of the closure to abut the strip and thus the cam, thereby preventing the bottom of the quiver and the bottom of the closure from forming an aligned straight line, as a result in that the closed case is under tension and tends to pop up and the objects can fall out.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide an inexpensive, stable and yet machine-fillable case for rod-shaped objects, which receives the items easy to fill and easily removable and yet holds securely and also an effective tool for easy removal positioning or for setting up the cases , eg at the workplace, has or represents.

This object is achieved with the invention encompassed in claim 1 and outlined with the characterizing features.

Claims (14)

1. Case for rod-shaped articles, particularly for writing, drawing, painting, marking or cosmetic sticks or instruments, which consists of at least a receptacle (1) and a closure part (2) and wherein the two parts (1, 2) are pivotably connected together, wherein the closure part (2) pivotably fastened to the receptacle (1) comprises a lower closure shell (21) and an upper closure shell (22) and is constructed to be divided and foldable open, wherein the closure part (2) is additionally constructed as an erecting aid or as a stand for the case, whereby the case can be brought into a defined erected position (A) or into a usual position of use and can be kept in this and wherein the two closure shells (21, 22) are designed to be closable, but detachable in the case of need, characterised in that the support edge (221) of the upper closure shell (22) in erected position (A) of the case bears against the circumference (90) of an inserted rod-shaped article.

3. Case according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the receptacle (1) and closure parts (2) are of material stiff in bending.
4. Case according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterised in that the pivot joints (13, 14, 23) or the connections of the two parts (1, 2) are constructed as film hinges and that the two parts (1, 2) are thereby pivotably connected together to be movable relative to one another, but otherwise firm.
5. Case according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the fold pivot joint (14) and the closure pivot joint (23) are arranged transversely and perpendicularly, respectively, to the case axis (x) to extend parallel to the transverse axis (y).
