Abstract

The closure includes a strip-like tear-off element (7) having on the lower edge (12) a thumb-size concave recess (11). The web-like collar of the tear-off strip is held at a comparatively small distance underneath the upper edge (10) of the tear-off strip on the container wall and is connected circumferentially through ideal break points to the protection element (3). The tear off strip projects up beyond the upper edge of the protective element which covers the lower edge of the closure (6) so that when the tear off strip is pushed or pulled on the lower edge near the concave recess or on the upper edge the strip moves see-saw against the container wall and separates off at the ideal break points.

Description

The invention relates to a device for securing by a closure element sealed containers of any kind against unauthorized opening, which in the upper edge area outer circumferential, integral with the container wall and the circumferential have the adjacent edge of the closure element inadequately covering protective element, by which the removal of the closure element is hindered and at least after removal one in a circumferential recess of the protective element, band-like, with the latter tearing element connected via predetermined breaking points the lower edge of the Closure element makes the opening access accessible, the tear-off element to one Container wall extending in the circumferential recess of the protective element arranged web-like projection which has predetermined breaking points with the container wall is connected in terms of bracket.

Die Praxis hat gezeigt, daß offensichtlich das erforderliche Ergreifen der Enden der in das Schutzelemente umfangsmäßig integrierten Abreißlasche zum Öffnen des Behälters vom Benutzer nicht immer unmittelbar erkannt wirdIn such a known device (DE 195 12 108 A1) the tear-off element is in shape a tear-off tab formed, the width of the height of the protective element of the container corresponds and the outer surface of which runs coherently with the outer surface of the protective element is arranged so that the upper and lower protective edge with the upper and the lower Align the edge of the tear-off tab, the ends of the tear-off sheet being freely movable. To the Opening the container must be pulled in the circumferential direction at one end of the tear-off tab, wherein the latter and the container connecting predetermined breaking points and cut into the Recess of the tear-off tab fitted into the protective element from the recess are pulled so that the lower edge of the closure element accessible to the opening becomes. Practice has shown that obviously the required gripping of the ends of the in the Protective elements with integrated tear-off tab for opening the container by the user is not always recognized immediately

The invention is therefore based on the object of a device of the type mentioned To provide a convenient and easy opening of the tamper-evident closure equipped container with a handle, so to speak.

This object is achieved in that the tape-like tear-off element on it Bottom edge has an approximately thumb-sized concave recess that the web-like projection at a relatively short distance below the upper edge of the band-like tear-off element the container wall is supported and in the circumferential direction via predetermined breaking points with the protective element is connected, and that the band-like tear-off element in height above the upper edge of the Protective element by which the lower edge of the closure element is covered inaccessible, protrudes in such a way that the tensile and compressive stress of the tear-off element on the lower edge of the tear-off element in the region of the concave recess or on the upper edge of the Tear-off element of this rocker-like movable against the container wall and at the predetermined breaking points is separable.

The lower edge of the band-like tear-off element is preferably aligned with the lower edge of the protective element. The band-like tear-off element is preferably in the circumferential direction of the protective element with the outer surface thereof and can be connected to the protective element on both sides at its lower edge via a predetermined breaking point. Two band-like tear-off elements lying opposite one another are preferably provided on the circumference of the protective element.
The protective element formed in one piece with the container wall has a first section extending perpendicularly outward from the container wall and a second section connected to it and tapering in a conical manner with respect to the container wall, which extends slightly upward beyond the first section and which covers the adjacent edge of the closure element inaccessible and the greater part of which extends angularly downward from the first section and is supported against bending on its surface facing the container wall by reinforcing ribs which are formed at a distance from one another on the lower surface of the first section over the container circumference. The protective element is thus designed so stiff that access to the adjacent peripheral edge of the closure cover, which is covered by the latter and which, like the container, is made of plastic by injection molding, is not possible at the circumference of the protective element. Only after removal of the tear-off element held in the recess of the protective element on this and the container wall by pulling the latter, for example with the thumb engaging on the lower edge of the concave recess of the tear-off element, away from the container wall and simultaneously pressing the upper edge of the tear-off element, for example with the index finger The tear-off element is pivoted toward the container wall in a rocker-like manner against the container wall, separating the predetermined breaking points and removed from its closed position, the thumb being able to grip directly under the exposed adjacent edge of the closure lid and lift it from the container opening.

The outer surface of the tear-off element can be crenellated or in a suitable printing from the scope of the protective element in a signal-like manner in a manner known per se be designed so that tampering with the tamper-evident seal immediately catches the eye.

  • A preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention will now be explained with reference to the drawings. In these are:
  • 1 is a partially sectioned side view of the sealed container equipped with the tamper-evident closure,
  • Fig. 2 shows a detail of a plan view of the container of FIG. 1 in an enlarged and
  • 3 is a plan view of the bottom of the container of FIG. 1st
As can be seen from FIG. 1, a container 1 in the upper edge region 2 has an outside circumferential protective element 3, which is integrally formed with the container wall 4 and the circumferential adjacent edge 5 of a cover 6 covers inaccessible. A band-like Tear-off element 7 is in a circumferential recess 8 of protective element 3 in Arranged circumferentially and has a web-like projection 9 in a relatively small amount Distance below its upper edge 10 and an approximately thumb-sized concave recess 11 in its lower edge 12, which is aligned with the lower edge 13 of the protective element 3. The Fig. 2 and 3 illustrate that the web-like projection 9 of the band-like tear-off element 7 both with the container wall 4 and with the protective element 3 via predetermined breaking points 14 is connected in terms of bracket. Fig. 1 further shows that the band-like tear-off element 7th in height slightly above the upper edge 15 of the protective element 3, through which the lower Edge 5 of the cover 6 is covered inaccessible, protrudes so that at Tensile stress on the lower edge 12 of the tear-off element 7 in the region of the concave Recess 11 and simultaneous pressure on the upper edge 16 of the tear-off element 7 this is rocked against the container wall 4. Here are the predetermined breaking points 14 severed and the tear-off element 7 from its holder in the circumferential The recess of the protective element 3 is released so that the lower edge 5 of the closure cover 6 the opening handle is now accessible. The band-like tear-off element 7 is, as from FIG. 2 emerges in the circumferential direction of the protective element 3 with this outer surface.
