Abstract

The invention is concerned with a method for sending an emergency message, in particular with the improvement of such methods. According to the prior art, it is known that emergency messages are automatically transmitted to a remote site when an emergency situation arises and / or an attempt is made to establish voice contact with the people affected by the emergency. Since it cannot be ruled out that damage to arrangements for sound detection 17 and / or sound radiation 12 occurs in an emergency situation and thus the communication with the (location) recognized as being advantageous is at least partially excluded, there was a need to specify a method which would allow the This task is solved in that, after triggering the emergency, it is first checked whether at least one arrangement for sound detection 17 and / or at least one arrangement for sound radiation 12 is still functional, and that in addition to the emergency message The result of the functional test is transmitted to the remote station, thereby ensuring that the remote station receives knowledge of the state of the arrangements for sound radiation 12 or sound detection 17. This knowledge then puts the remote station in the position, for example, that no ch to use existing arrangements for appropriate communication.
