Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen metall-keramischen Werkstoff und auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines derartigen Werkstoffes. Zur Schaffung eines isotropen metall-keramischen Verbundwerkstoffes mit verbesserten mechanischen Eigenschaften insbesondere unter Heißbedingungen ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß keramische Fasern als Kurzfasern mit einer Faserlänge von mindestens dem 5-fachen, höchstens jedoch dem 15-fachen des Faserdurchmessers erstellt und mit einem oder mehreren letztlich die Matrix bildenden Metallpulver mit einer Korngröße zwischen 15 und 200 um und gegebenenfalls mit einem Harstoffpulver homogen gemischt und allseits gerichtet verteilt werden, worauf die derart erstellte Mischung gesintert wird.The invention relates to a metal-ceramic material and to a Process for producing such a material.
