Description
The subject of the invention is a multifunction plate for surface cleaner.
This plate serves as a support for example to a cover woven or non-woven fabric that is used to clean and rub the surfaces, and the plate is mounted at the end a sleeve or a handle, advantageously using a ball joint as seen in particular in the US-A 4,070,726. This flexible textile piece must be fixed to this support removably to be easily replaced and wrung out and must be held securely.
We know a solution which consists in carrying out a cover formed by a rectangular base of which the two small sides are folded to form fixing pockets intended to cover the ends of the support, which support is made in two half parts articulated around an axis to allow the introduction of the support in the textile pocket, or its extraction from the pocket.
A 4,852,210.Other systems for holding a textile on a support are provided by flexible parts, for example towel hook type, arranged above the plate, and the textile which is folded over on the four sides is thus maintained by wrapping its support, as for example in US-A 4,852,210.
There are also support plate devices that can receive elastic covers, but for their positioning, the tray is usually trapezoidal.
Finally, more simply, we know that it is possible to fix a textile strip on the sole of a support which can be attached a self-gripping textile plate.
Each of these fixing methods therefore requires a support of a particular type adapted to it, and these different systems are not always very easy to use.
The invention provides a new solution to these difficulties thanks to a universal plate, suitable for receiving all types of surface cleaner, their replacement and their attachment being further easier for the user.
- on the lower sole of the plate, flat parts for hook-and-loop strips.
- on the upper face of the plate at least clamping mechanisms cooperating with windows or cells of the plate for holding all types of parts with folded edges and holes adapted to press button systems for fastening clips.
According to a first main characteristic of the invention, the gripping and handling means interchangeable include a swivel joint on the rod which is equipped with two flexible blades for disconnect the handle or the handle from the plate.
According to another particular characteristic of the invention, the clamping mechanism consists of a profiled blade cooperating with at least one central window and two lateral cells provided on the upper face of the plate, the blade being profiled in the form of arch whose ends of the lateral wings are placed in the cells and a blade clipping system in the central window being provided in the center of the blade.

8.The plate shown in the figures looks like
a
The window and the cells which equip the face
upper of the plate, on either side of the heels 4,
are used for positioning a clamping mechanism
consisting of a
The handling of the clamping blade is extremely simple, each of which can also be mounted in any which direction on one or the other of the ends of the plate.
In addition, the
Figures 4 and 5a precisely show a system of
simple clipping of a joystick 17 (left part) or
a holding handle 18 (right part), on said
On prévoit
In FIG. 5b is shown a variant of
the
According to yet another simplified variant and not shown means for gripping and handling the plate, there is a threaded sleeve snapped in remains on the joint, socket on which is screwed either the handle or the handle. We can also have a handle which forms the socket itself and which is latched, and which can receive the handle by screwing.
Likewise, a handle connection (or handle) fixed relative to the plate for its use at like a trowel or a bond with a possible rotation around the axis or two rotations possible around the axis and the joint.
En
variante non représentée, on pourrait utiliser un axe
clipsable au lieu de l'axe profilé.According to another alternative embodiment illustrated in
Figures 6,7 and 8, the fixed
Even more simply, we can consider a handful
fixed which would be directly clipable on the
We can thus see that the multifunctionality of the plate applies not only to the fixing of textile parts, but also to that of its means of grasping and handling.
Regarding parts intended for cleaning proper, reported on the multifunction plate, in outside the tightening system described above with reference to Figure 3, we can also take advantage of the Velcro straps 8 to directly attach a usual rectangular cleaning pad.
Finally the two
To facilitate the insertion of the press button, can plan to create on at least one side one or two easily deformable walls, in one direction privileged, so as to reduce the effort required to user to clip the pressure into the platen or the unclip. The flexibility of the structure thus obtained also improves the product's lifespan. In the state rest, the dimension of the hole in the longitudinal axis of the platinum is greater than the pressure diameter metallic, the perpendicular dimension being less than this same diameter.
During assembly, the walls are deformed until the dimension of the hole is equal to the diameter of the pressure, then these walls tighten while exerting a pressure constraint to secure the maintenance of the textile cover during use.
The approach remains valid for a polygonal hole.
figure 9.These holes which completely cross the
la plaque 1 (figure 1).Finally Figures 10a and 11 illustrate a variant of
production of the
According to an alternative embodiment illustrated in
Figure 10b, the clamping mechanism is provided by two
rigid L-shaped
According to yet another variant not shown, the
