Definitions
- the invention relates to a Bundle of bristle filaments according to the features of the handle of claim 1 and a bristle strip according to the features of the preamble of claim 14.
- Such bundles of bristle filaments or bristle strips are in a wide variety Species known, for example in so-called Paintbrushes.
- a fluid can Capillaries defined from a tank to a surface are applied, including the capillary cross section or the capillary diameter to the fluid and the wetting surface is matched.
- the bristle filaments are used to form the absorbent bundle in the Usually pressed mechanically, for example between three bristle filaments each have a capillary gusset forms. The pressing takes place, for example, by means of Wedges or pressed metal strips.
- the frame part is injection-molded onto the bristle filaments by plastic penetration with partial penetration into intermediate areas of outer bristle filaments.
- bristle filaments are easily and securely attached to form an absorbent bundle.
- the bristle filaments have an optimal edge seal.
- the combined bristle filaments are, for example, locally overmolded on one side to form a capillary unit with a plastic frame.
- the partial penetration into the intermediate areas of outer bristle filaments or the washing around them with plastic results in an optimal edge seal.
- the capillary diameter can be set, for example, via the closing pressure of the injection molding tool.
- the embodiment according to the invention proves to be advantageous in that no additional fastenings in the form of catches or pressings and no subsequent sealing of the edge areas is necessary.
- the extrusion coating of the bristle filaments with plastic enables the capillary diameter to be optimally matched to the respective application.
- a porosity distribution of the capillary delivery unit can also be set.
- a high level of process reliability is given by the fact that the process for overmolding the bristle filaments with plastic is only dependent on the spraying parameters.
- the frame part is injection-molded onto the bristle filaments while leaving a free length on both sides in the plastic injection molding process.
- the frame part is designed as an integral ring body.
- the frame part it is also conceivable to design the frame part in such a way that it encompasses the bristle filaments and at the same time penetrates the bundle to be formed in a web-like manner, with which bundle partial regions are formed.
- the frame part holds the bristle filaments together under pretension.
- the bristle elements combined into a bundle are securely held, if necessary with simultaneous pretensioning.
- different capillary effects are possible by fusing the outer bristle filaments with the frame part.

- Bristle filaments with a diameter of 10-300 ⁇ m are preferably used.
- the fact that the frame part comprising the bristle filaments is produced according to the invention in the plastic injection molding process results in a further advantage in that the frame part can be injection molded integrally with a connecting component, for example a tank. Accordingly, the frame part and the connecting component are produced in one pass, with the inclusion of the combined bristle filaments. If the connection component is a tank, the bristle filaments are positioned in the course of the spraying process in such a way that their free ends are immersed in the tank to be created.
- the bundle formed with an injection-molded frame part can also be composed of other capillary units, such as sintered materials, fabrics or sponges.
- the invention further relates to a bristle strip.
- a bristle strip To an improved bracket the bristle filaments at the same time easier to enable sealing, it is proposed that a the bundle of frame part surrounding the outside and the bundle separating cross bars with partial penetration into intermediate areas of the bristle filaments integrally in the plastic injection molding process are made. Through the cross bars the bristle strip is divided into individual bundles. In this connection penetrate both the frame part and the integral molded crossbars partially in the intermediate areas from outside-outside bristle filaments, if necessary under Merging with these. Furthermore, the bristle filaments are through the cross struts or the frame part held together under tension.
