- thermoplastic spacer When applying a thermoplastic spacer to a Glass pane in the course of the production of insulating glass panes thermoplastic from a nozzle in a strand on the Glass panel sprayed on while the nozzle is running along the edge of the Glass pane is moved. If there is a corner in the spacer with the nozzle is to be generated, the nozzle is perpendicular to the glass pane aligned axis pivots, which axis in the area of the inner corner a corner to be created in the spacer. When swiveling the nozzle is slightly lifted off the glass, so that the strand of plastic that is squeezed out of the nozzle does not adhere to the glass pane while the nozzle is being pivoted becomes.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for producing a spacer made of thermoplastic on glass panes in the train the production of insulating glass panes, in the thermoplastic Plastic along the edge of the glass sheet and stranded on the glass pane is sprayed on.
Eine derartige Arbeitsweise ist beispielsweise aus der EP 176 388 A bekannt (Biver-Verfahren).Except for insulating glass panes, their glass panes from each other held at a distance by a metallic spacer and there are insulating glass panes with spacers made of thermoplastic. Usually will proceeded so that the thermoplastic plastic, the Spacers should form by moving relative to a nozzle sprayed directly onto the edge of the glass pane onto the glass pane becomes. Such an operation is for example from the EP 176 388 A known (Biver method).
Various proposals have been made recently the application of spacers made of thermoplastic material should improve with rectangular cross-sectional shape.
However, the formation of sharp corners in the sprayed on is still unsolved Spacers and the tight connection of the beginning and end of the thermoplastic spacer.
For spraying thermoplastic materials onto glass panes various embodiments of nozzles are known. From the AT 399 497 B and from US 5 481 276 A nozzles are known which are based on its end facing the glass pane is open and, based on the direction of movement, behind an outlet opening for example formed with a rectangular cross section have thermoplastic material.
The invention has for its object, starting from the described State of the art a method for applying spacers made of thermoplastic on glass panes in the course of manufacturing of insulating glass panes to indicate with the sharp-edged Corners can be formed.
This problem is solved with a method of the aforementioned Genus in that when spraying a corner in the strand Spacer plastic forming the spacer in one go sprayed onto the glass pane and a sharp-edged inside corner of the Spacer is generated, and that when spraying a corner Spacer-forming plastic on the glass pane without sticking the plastic is sprayed onto the glass pane in the corner area becomes.

With the method according to the invention, in one operation closed spacers made of thermoplastic plastic Glass panes are sprayed on. Thanks to the special working technique The spacers have in the area of the injection molded corners made of thermoplastic material according to the invention Processes have been produced, sharp-edged inner corners, so that there are no disturbing curvatures to be seen, like this in the case of spacers applied according to the prior art thermoplastic is the case.
In one embodiment, the method according to the invention also allows it Start and end of a sprayed spacer together connect tightly, with the junction in the area a corner of the spacer is what manufacturing advantages offers and there also results in a sharp-edged inner corner.

It should be noted that the embodiment shown in Fig. 3

The nozzle 1 or, in particular, its nozzle shoe is vertical by one

So
When spraying thermoplastic 7 to a
Fig. 1 strichliert eingezeichnete Stellung erreicht hat (Verschwenken
Glasscheibe haftet. If the nozzle 1 by moving (arrow 12) the nozzle 1 itself and / or
the glass pane comes into the area of a
If the last corner in a
Fig. 2b veranschaulicht ist.
As soon as the nozzle 1 with its front in the direction of movement (arrow 12)
As soon as the nozzle 1 has reached the position shown in FIG. 2c in which

During this stripping through the trailing
An embodiment of the method of the invention is also conceivable

Fig. 2c).In the variant of the invention shown in FIGS. 2a to 2e

Advantageous for the success in executing the
In summary, a preferred embodiment of the invention Procedure can be described as follows:
When applying a thermoplastic spacer to a Glass pane in the course of the production of insulating glass panes thermoplastic from a nozzle in a strand on the Glass panel sprayed on while the nozzle is running along the edge of the Glass pane is moved.
