- An apparatus according to Claim 5, characterised in that at its end (22) nearest the winding spindle (10) the insert (21) is of oval or ellipse-shaped cross-section, the long axis of which extends parallel to the tape (1) or its surface.
- An apparatus according to either Claim 5 or Claim 7, characterised in that at its end (23) remote from the winding spindle (10) the insert (21) is of a cross-section which tapers conically towards the winding spindle (10) and which is substantially circular or oval and/or ellipse-shaped, the long axis of which cross-section extends parallel to the tape (1) or its surface.
- An apparatus according to any one of Claims 5 to 8, characterised in that at its end (22) nearest the winding spindle (1) the insert (21) has a bevel (24) in a direction in which the tape (2) is fed to the winding spindle (10) or to the winding stack (11).
- An apparatus according to any one of Claims 5 to 9, characterised in that the insert (21) consists of a ceramic material, preferably of an aluminium oxide ceramic.
