Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing multilayered small bands out of plastic for high-strength woven fabrics by first producing a small band (1) which has a large width and which is then folded once onto itself along the longitudinal axis thereof in a folding process in order to produce a small band (2) having a smaller width and at least two layers. The small band is then wound up in a spooling process. The stacked layers of the small band (2) are fixed to one another by means of a heating process before being wound up. According to the invention, the folding process is carried out immediately before the spooling process in order to simplify the production process and to also produce small bands (2) with an easier processability.

Description

The invention relates to a method for producing multilayered plastic ribbon according to the generic term of Claim 1 and a device for performing of the method according to the preamble of claim 5.

Such tapes are used to manufacture high-strength Fabric used for container sacks. To the firmness too increase, you can increase the ribbon thickness. However, it takes the (tensile) strength of the ribbons is not proportional with their thickness too.

In order to achieve increased strength, EP 0 307 785 B1 a process for the production of double-layer stretched Thermoplastic tape proposed. With the same overall thickness of such ribbons, one results increased tensile strength. Furthermore, in the known method suggested pulling the ribbon through before winding it up Fix heat so that the superimposed Stick layers together. In particular, this is supposed to later springing open of the ribbon can be avoided.

It has been shown that such thermofixed tapes certain processing problems, especially weaving and also with regard to the structural strength of those that can be produced Bring tissue with it.

The invention is based on the object, method and device for the production of multilayer tapes made of plastic to show for high-strength fabrics, by means of which easier Processing improved fabric properties achievable are.

This task is procedurally by the claim 1 and device-wise by the in claim 5 specified features solved.

An essential point of the invention is that the Folding takes place directly before the winding process. This is correct winding without additional thermal fixation the layers on top of each other. Surprisingly could be shown that tapes produced in this way at a later processing operation, especially when weaving on the one hand do not spring open, on the other hand one opposite the thermo-fixed ribbons contribute to increased bending elasticity have the same tensile properties.

The ribbon is preferably produced such that a Glue the layers together during storage on the Coil is safely avoided. This can ensure that the previously mentioned bending elasticity is retained. The winding process preferably comprises cross winding.

Different forms of folding are conceivable and also possible. However, folds are particularly preferred such that at least one edge of the ribbon on the edge of the folded Ribbon comes to rest. This can be done with an unbalanced U-fold (2-ply) and especially with 3-ply folds be ensured. With such a folded shape the fabric produced has an anti-slip effect, so it will be very smooth and slippery in spite of the Materials achieved a certain engagement effect, in which the Edges of the fabric itself in the subsurface or against others Spread or claw objects.

Advantageously in the device according to the invention The thread guide to be used points to his, the winding spindle end facing an oval or elliptical cross-section on, the long axis parallel to the ribbon film runs. This makes it a safer yet very simple Folding process achievable. This thread guide preferably has at its end facing away from the winding spindle essentially one circular or oval or elliptical Cross section on, the long axis parallel to the ribbon surface runs. This measure also improves the Folding. In addition there is a conical inlet area intended.

The thread guide points at its end facing the winding spindle preferably a bevel in one direction, in which the ribbon is fed to the winding spindle. Thereby can be the distance between the thread guide and the winding spindle or the wrap can be reduced, which the Winding stability increased significantly or the winding process makes you safer. The thread guide is preferably off a ceramic material, in particular an aluminum oxide ceramic manufactured, which has a long service life.

In the following illustration, according to a preferred Embodiment of the invention a precision cross winder explained, which is known per se. It includes, as in Fig. 1 shows schematically, a thread guide 20, which according to the stroke length by one not in detail here shown because known mechanics moves back and forth becomes. The thread guide 20 comprises an insert 21, in which is introduced a ribbon 1 of greater width, the is continuously fed via a compensation bracket 7. in the Insert 21 becomes the ribbon 1 with a greater width Ribbon 2 folded with a smaller width and immediately closed a nip 8 between a press roller 9 and a Run winding package 11, which is formed on a winding spindle 10 is. The pressure roller 9 runs on in a manner known per se a jacket surface 12 of the winding package 11 and thus holds the winding device 5 or the thread guide 20 in one in substantially constant distance from the winding package 11.

The insert 21 of the thread guide 20 is, as in particular, made of Figures 2 and 3 can be seen on his, the winding spindle 10 facing end 22 provided with a bevel 24, which is particularly intended to insert 21 with its the winding spindle 10 facing end 22 very close to the Bring clamp point 8 without touching the Shell surface 12 takes place. In addition, the bevel serves 24 to make it easier to catch the ribbon if this through a slot 25 of the thread guide 20 or the insert 21 is inserted into this.

At its end 23 facing away from the winding spindle 10, the Insert 21, as shown in particular in Figures 3 and 4 is a funnel-shaped inlet. At a first, 3 shown embodiment of the invention the opening of the end 23 of the insert facing away from the winding spindle 21 has a substantially circular cross section. The end 22 of the insert 21 facing the winding spindle 10 is oval in cross section, respectively elliptically shaped, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 4 and 5 emerges. As a result, the incoming ribbon 1 with higher width as indicated in FIG. 6 into one Ribbon 2 of smaller width folded, with edges 3 and 4 of the ribbon come to rest in the middle. Another, embodiment not shown in detail here of the invention, which optionally also two in a row Folding elements (one possibly also in front of the compensation bracket 7) can have other folded shapes generated as shown in Figures 7, 8 and 9. The tapes 2 of smaller width differ in the Embodiments according to Figures 7 and 8 in that either both edges 3 and 4 or at least one edge 3 of the Ribbon at the edge of the ribbon 2 of smaller width come and because the folding is 3 layers. at 9, the edges 3 and 4 of the ribbon 2 of smaller width directly one above the other, see above that a double fold occurs. These folding forms, in which the edges 3 and 4 also edges of the ribbon Form or shape with a smaller width, have opposite the folding has the advantage that one of such ribbons fabric produced has increased slip resistance. This is ensured by the edges 3, 4, which by their "sharpness" and deformability have a certain impact effect and an increased "coefficient of friction" with it bring. The oval cross-section ensures that to the ribbon level parallel long axis at the end 23 of the insert 21 for proper folding. Since the folded ribbon 2 after its leakage from the insert 21 as shown in FIG. 2 is shown, the nip 8 between the nip roller 9 and the outer surface 12 of the package 11 supplied the ribbon can no longer unfold and becomes in folded state placed on the package 11.

By those contained in the previous description Characteristics, it is now possible to have different ones depending on customer requirements To achieve folded shapes and widths. No one needs to do this Effort to be driven because the ribbon is wound up for the formation of winding packages is necessary to the Ribbon in a later step, for example in one Weaving machine to be able to process.
