Abstract

L'invention concerne un réseau local domestique photonique permettant d'interfacer un réseau externe de données de communication avec une pluralité d'immeubles, à usage résidentiel ou commercial, dans un voisinage. Le réseau externe de communication comporte une pluralité de segments de largeur de bande de données utilisateur englobant au moins des données de programmation télévisuelle, des données de programmation audio et des données de services téléphoniques qui sont fournies au réseau. Ce réseau local domestique photonique possède un canal multi-accès photonique, un circuit de télécommunications de tête de réseau, une pluralité de circuits pour décodeurs intégrés à des récepteurs (24), un programme exécutable pour démultiplexer et distribuer les segments de données dans les circuits précités et pour acquérir des données utilisateur destinées à être incorporées dans le signal multiplexé subséquent.
