Definitions
- EP A 0 222 645 for example a circuit breaker comprising at least one pair of contacts of which at least one is movable and can take a closed position relative to the other corresponding to mechanical and electrical contact and an open position, this circuit breaker being of the type fitted with an arming mechanism provided with an energy accumulator and a opening mechanism.
- the arming mechanism includes a so-called closing spring to pass from an armed state to a released state, a so-called closing lock capable of locking the spring closing in its armed state.
- the closing spring is associated with the movable contact of so that the relaxation of the closing spring causes the movable contact to its position closing.
- the arming and closing mechanism further includes a mechanism which the driving member, for example an oscillating lever, drives a freewheel mechanism capable of bringing the closing spring into its armed state.
- the opening mechanism includes a so-called opening spring capable of going from an armed state to a released state and from the released state to the armed state, and a so-called opening lock capable of locking the opening spring in its armed state.
- the opening spring is associated with the movable contact of so that the relaxation of the opening spring causes the movable contact to a position and that the movement of the movable contact to its closed position causes the opening spring to be armed
- Such a circuit breaker can be in different states, in particular a closed state, a state open disarmed, an open armed state.
- the lock opening can be either in the unlocked position, which is usually a position of rest in which the lock is resiliently recalled, ie in the locking position.
- the lock can indeed be permanently requested in this last position, for example by a trigger activating it due to a persistent electrical fault on the line, or by a opening push button itself locked by an external lock to allow intervention on the apparatus.
- the circuit breaker should in practice only be closed when three conditions are met: arming mechanism must be armed, the switch bar must be in position opening, and the opening latch must be in its locked position.
- the conjunction of these three conditions defines a state known as "ready to close" of the circuit breaker.
- the catalog low voltage distribution Merlin Gerin from 1989 references a brand circuit breaker Masterpact, presenting an indicator of this state ready to close the device.
- the internal operation of this prior art device is shown in Figures 1 to 3.
- the arming mechanism 10 of the circuit breaker 12 includes an energy accumulator spring 14 cooperating with a transmission lever 16.
- the lever 16 is pivotally mounted around a fixed axis 18 and comprises a roller 20 interfering with an arming cam 22 mounted on a shaft 24.
- the shaft 24 supports a secondary cam 26 for indexing the state of the circuit breaker 12, interfering with a finger 28 of an indicator 30 pivoting about a fixed axis 32.
- the sight glass 30 has a wall 34 in the sector of a cylinder, visible through a window 36 of the instrument panel 38 of the front face of the apparatus. LED 30 can take two positions: one, shown in Figures 2 and 3, representative of the unarmed state of the arming mechanism 10 and the other, shown in Figure 1, of the armed state.
- the finger 28 falls into a notch 40 of the indexing cam 26 and the indicator 30 pivots in such a position that appears in window 36 a symbol of the armed state of the circuit breaker.
- the finger 28 interferes with the periphery cylindrical 42 of the cam 26, so that appears in the window a different part of the wall 34 carrying a corresponding symbol.
- the indicator light 30 also comprises an arm 44 acting on a drawer 46, so that the drawer 46 is pushed to the left on the figures, as long as the circuit breaker is not in its armed state.
- the circuit breaker has an opening indicator 48 visible in Figure 3 and mounted on an axis 50 extending that of the arming indicator 30, in a plane parallel to that of FIG. 1.
- the indicator opening 48 is recalled to an angular position not shown, in which it leaves appear through a window 52 of the dashboard 38 a symbol of the open state of the circuit breaker.
- the indicator 48 also includes a finger 54 which interferes with a cam 56 carried by the switching bar 58 when it reaches its closed position, so as to rotate the sight glass 48, which is found in the position shown in the figure 3, in which it lets appear through the window 52 a symbol of the closed state of circuit breaker.
- the circuit breaker opening mechanism 12 furthermore comprises an opening lock 64 able to assume a locking position, shown in Figure 2, in which it prohibits the passage of the switching rod 58 from its closed position to its open position, and an unlocked position, shown in Figures 1 and 3, in which it allows this passage.
- the lock 64 has an arm 66 acting on the drawer 46, and pushing it to the left on Figure 2, as long as the lock is in the unlocked position.
- Drawer 46 is recalled elastically to the right in the figures, but it cannot reach the position of figure 1 only when the three conditions of the “ready to close” state are met.
- the indicator drawer 46 activates an electrical contact, not shown, which activates an indicator light dashboard 38. Furthermore, it ensures in this position, and in this position only, a kinematic connection between a closing button 68 and a locking bolt closing 70 intended to release the arming cam 22, so that any closing order by the push button 68 is inoperative, as long as the apparatus is not in its ready-to-use state to close.
- This device has the drawback of not having a mechanical sight glass, that is to say purely mechanical device visible to the operator and indicating by its position or its state the state "ready to close" of the device.
- the present invention therefore aims to provide the operator with mechanical information representative of the state ready to close of the apparatus, in an inexpensive form, little cumbersome and practical reading.
- the indicator is kinematically connected to a transmission member arranged between the closing control member and the energy accumulator, so that the transmission member is capable of transmitting the mechanical order of the control member of closing with the closing latch if and only if the indicator is in the "ready to close” position.
- the indicator then becomes multifunctional, since it controls the inactivation of the control member closing, hence a reduction in the number of parts.
- the organ's declutching function closing command is useful to avoid vacuum closing, i.e. on a switchgear whose opening lock is in the unlocked position. Indeed, a vacuum closing causes a significant energy discharge which must be absorbed by limit stops dimensioned for less severe impacts.
- the transmission member does not interfere with the closing control member when the light is not in its "ready to close” position, so that the control unit is disengaged.
- the inactivation of the closing control member is done by declutching: in practice, the operator who operates the closing control member does not transmits no mechanical stress to the locking bolt, to the transmission member or to the seer.
- the sight glass comprises a cooperation surface capable of cooperating directly or indirectly with the transmission device.
- the sight glass is mounted pivoting about an axis.
- the sight glass comprises a cooperation surface capable of cooperating directly or indirectly with the opening lock.
- the sight glass comprises a cooperation surface capable of cooperating directly or indirectly with the pair or pairs of contact members, in particular with a bar of switching connecting the movable contact members.
- the sight glass comprises a cooperation surface capable of cooperating directly or indirectly with the arming mechanism, in particular with its device training.
- the kinematic link between the indicator and the latch opening, the switch bar, the arming mechanism or the transmission may not use a cam, but any other suitable type of connection, for example by cables.
- the sight glass comprises a cooperation surface, constituted for example by an arm or a cam, able to cooperate directly or indirectly with a switch electric so as to close it if and only if the indicator is in its "ready to to close ".
- the electrical information thus obtained makes it possible to send a signal back to the board. on the circuit breaker and to internal or external monitoring devices.
- the circuit breaker comprises a pair of contact members 72, 74 separable by pole, whose movable contact member 72 is connected by a connecting rod 76 to a bar switch 58 common to all the poles, and a device for controlling opening and closing of the poles, equipped with an energy accumulator.
- the bar of switching 58 is a shaft driving the circuit breaker contact members between a position and their closed position.
- the mobile contact member is itself in two parts, one constituting a support mounted to pivot about a fixed axis and urged by the connecting rod 76, the other mounted pivoting about an axis of the first, and carrying the pellets of contact.
- the control device comprises a kinematic chain for opening and closure 62, visible in FIGS.
- the connecting rod 78 is connected by a end 80 to a crank of the switch bar, while its other end 82 is mounted on the pivoting opening hook 84.
- the hook 84 is itself retained in position by the opening pawl 86 retained by an opening latch 64.
- the crankshaft 78 can take a folded position corresponding to an open position of the bar switching 58, and a deployed position corresponding to the closed position of the bar 58.
- An opening spring 88 working under tension connects the connecting pivot 80 from the crankshaft to the switch bar and a fixed cleat, so that it recalls the switch bar 58 in the open position, and tends automatically when the closing of the poles.
- the control device also comprises an arming mechanism 10 to accumulation of energy visible in Figure 5, whose arming is operated through a reset cam 22 keyed onto an arming shaft 24.
- the arming shaft 24 is driven clockwise in the figures, by a ratchet and ratchet wheel, not represented.
- the cocking cam 22 cooperates with a roller 20 of a cocking lever 16.
- the cocking lever 16 supports a finger 88 for connection with an elastic energy accumulator comprising a compression spring 14, called closing spring, guided in a support telescopic.
- the cocking lever 16 also belongs to the kinematic chain opening and closing, since it also has a finger 90 cooperating with the connecting rod 78, so that the pivoting of the cocking lever 16 when the closing spring 14 drives the linkage 78 and the switch bar 58 in position closing.
- the cocking cam In the cocked position of Figure 5, the cocking cam is retained in position by a closing pawl 91, itself locked in position by a closing latch 70.
- a dashboard 38 of the circuit breaker 12 has a push button 68 and a mechanical indicator 30 indicating the armed or unarmed state of the apparatus.
- the sight glass 30 constitutes a lever pivoting about an axis 32 and having a display face 34 in cylinder sector, passing in front of a window 36 of the front face of circuit breaker 12. It is recalled by a tension spring 92 clockwise on the figures.
- the sight glass 30 has a first arm 28 comprising an active surface 29 cooperating with an indexing cam 26 secured to the arming shaft 24.
- the indexing cam 26 has a notch 40 in which the arm 28 is free to be housed when the shaft 24 reaches its armed position, in the positions of FIGS. 7 to 9.
- the indicator light has a second arm 54 of which an active surface 55 interferes with the switching bar 58 in the position of FIG. 7.
- the sight glass has a third arm 94 which interferes with a active surface 95 with an arm 96 of the opening latch 64 when the latter takes its position for unlocking in FIG. 9.
- the indicator also has a fourth arm 44, one of which active surface 45 cooperates with a transmission drawer 46.
- the drawer has an oblong 98 of guide cooperating with a fixed pivot 100, giving it a degree of freedom of translation and a degree of freedom of rotation.
- the drawer is recalled elastically to the right in Figures 6 to 9, in a position where it is able to cooperate with the push button 68, so as to transmit to the closing lock 70 a closing order given manually on the pushbutton.
- the operation of the device is as follows.
- the switching rod 58 In the position of FIG. 6, the switching rod 58 is in the closed position and arming of the energy storage device has not started.
- the first arm 28 of the seer rests on the periphery 42 of the indexing cam 26 so that the indicator 30 takes a first position in which it lets appear through the window part of the sector cylindrical 34 carrying a symbol characteristic of the "unarmed" state of the circuit breaker.
- the drawer 46 In this position, the drawer 46 is biased by the third arm 44 of the indicator 30 outside of its position of interference with the push button 68 and the closing latch 70, so that the closing push button 68 is inoperative.
- the first arm 28 of the indicator light is opposite the notch 40 of the indexing cam. Its pivoting is however restricted by interference from the second arm 54 with the arm of the switching rod 58 in the closed position.
- the indicator light 30 therefore pivots, under the bias of its return spring 92, to the position of Figure 7. In this position, the drawer 46 is still biased by the third arm 44 of the indicator light 30 outside its position of interference with the push button 68 and the latch closing 70, so that the closing push button 68 is still inoperative.
- the light 30 lets appear through the window part of the cylinder sector 34 bearing a symbol of the “armed disengaged” state of the circuit breaker, that is to say of a state in which the closing the circuit breaker is not authorized, although the arming spring 14 is banded.
- the invention has been described in connection with a circuit breaker. It is however also applicable to any switchgear with energy storage, for example to switchgear operating as a switch.
- the apparatus can be monopolar, in which case the bar of switching and the movable contact member can be completely integral, even confused, or multipolar. It can be limiting, in which case there is an articulation between the part of the contact member carrying the contact pads and the part of the contact member linked to the switching bar, or non-limiting, in which case this articulation is not always necessary.
- the invention applies both to low voltage switchgear and to switchgear high tension.
- the indicator can be pivoted around an imaginary axis. It can also take the form of a drawer moving in translation in front of the window.
Abstract
Description
EP A 0 222 645, for example a circuit breaker comprising at least one pair of contacts of which at least one is movable and can take a closed position relative to the other corresponding to mechanical and electrical contact and an open position, this circuit breaker being of the type fitted with an arming mechanism provided with an energy accumulator and a opening mechanism. Such a circuit breaker can be in different states, in particular a closed state, a state open disarmed, an open armed state. In open armed and disarmed states, the lock opening can be either in the unlocked position, which is usually a position of rest in which the lock is resiliently recalled, ie in the locking position. The lock can indeed be permanently requested in this last position, for example by a trigger activating it due to a persistent electrical fault on the line, or by a opening push button itself locked by an external lock to allow intervention on the apparatus.
However, the circuit breaker should in practice only be closed when three conditions are met:
arming mechanism must be armed, the switch bar must be in position
opening, and the opening latch must be in its locked position. The conjunction
of these three conditions defines a state known as "ready to close" of the circuit breaker. The catalog
low voltage distribution Merlin Gerin from 1989 references a brand circuit breaker
Masterpact, presenting an indicator of this state ready to close the device. The
internal operation of this prior art device is shown in Figures 1
to 3. The
To solve this problem, it has been proposed in document EP-A-0 721 647 to provide a specific mechanical indicator for the ready-to-close state of the device, taking information on a moving part whose position is specific to the ready to close state. This solution is relatively heavy to implement, due to the many specific parts it puts in play and its size. In addition, it provides the human operator with information superabundant which is not always practical.
The present invention therefore aims to provide the operator with mechanical information representative of the state ready to close of the apparatus, in an inexpensive form, little cumbersome and practical reading.
- one or more poles each comprising at least one pair of contact members, at least one of the contact members of each pair being movable so that the pair of contact members is capable of assuming an open position and a closed position,
- an opening spring,
- an energy accumulator,
- an arming mechanism kinematically linked to the energy accumulator so as to charge the energy accumulator regardless of the position of the pair or pairs of contact members,
- a so-called closing lock capable of locking the energy accumulator in its charged state,
- a kinematic chain connecting the energy accumulator, the opening spring and the movable contact member (s) so that the discharge of the energy accumulator moves the pair or pairs of contact members towards their position closing and banding the opening spring, and the banded opening spring returns the pair or pairs of contact members to their open position,
- a so-called opening lock capable of cooperating with the kinematic chain and taking a locking position in which it prohibits the passage of the pair or pairs of contact members from their closed position to their open position and a position unlocked in which it allows this passage,
- a signaling device comprising:
- an indicator kinematically linked to the arming mechanism and able to take an "unarmed" position and at least a second position, and to take its "unarmed" position if and only if the energy accumulator is not in its charged state,
- a mechanical indicator of a “ready to close” state of the apparatus, kinematically connected to the pair or pairs of contact members and to the opening latch, taking a position called “ready to close” if and only if the or the pairs of contact members are in the open position, the energy accumulator is charged and the opening lock is in its locked position,
En effet, la position « non prêt à fermer » du voyant de l'état de la technique n'ajoute aucune information lorsque le voyant d'armement se trouve en position « non armé ».The structure obtained is simpler since it requires only one indicator, there or two were necessary. This arrangement is more advantageous from an ergonomic point of view, since the operator receives only relevant information and not unnecessarily redundant, indicating the status "unarmed", "armed not ready to close" and "ready to close". Indeed, the “not ready to close” position of the prior art indicator light does not add any information when the arming indicator is in the "unarmed" position.
Preferably, the indicator is kinematically connected to a transmission member arranged between the closing control member and the energy accumulator, so that the transmission member is capable of transmitting the mechanical order of the control member of closing with the closing latch if and only if the indicator is in the "ready to close" position. The indicator then becomes multifunctional, since it controls the inactivation of the control member closing, hence a reduction in the number of parts. The organ's declutching function closing command is useful to avoid vacuum closing, i.e. on a switchgear whose opening lock is in the unlocked position. Indeed, a vacuum closing causes a significant energy discharge which must be absorbed by limit stops dimensioned for less severe impacts. Preferably, the transmission member does not interfere with the closing control member when the light is not in its "ready to close" position, so that the control unit is disengaged. In this case, the inactivation of the closing control member is done by declutching: in practice, the operator who operates the closing control member does not transmits no mechanical stress to the locking bolt, to the transmission member or to the seer. Preferably, the sight glass comprises a cooperation surface capable of cooperating directly or indirectly with the transmission device.
Preferably, the sight glass is mounted pivoting about an axis. Alternatively, it is possible to implement the invention with an indicator mobile in translation, or according to any other suitable trajectory.
Preferably, the sight glass comprises a cooperation surface capable of cooperating directly or indirectly with the opening lock.
Advantageously, the sight glass comprises a cooperation surface capable of cooperating directly or indirectly with the pair or pairs of contact members, in particular with a bar of switching connecting the movable contact members.
Preferably, the sight glass comprises a cooperation surface capable of cooperating directly or indirectly with the arming mechanism, in particular with its device training. Alternatively, the kinematic link between the indicator and the latch opening, the switch bar, the arming mechanism or the transmission may not use a cam, but any other suitable type of connection, for example by cables.
Alternatively, it is also possible to implement the invention with a part mobile intermediate separate from the sight glass, kinematically linked to it, and cooperating by via cams or any other suitable means with the opening lock, the switch bar, the arming mechanism and, if applicable, the transmission.
Advantageously, the sight glass comprises a cooperation surface, constituted for example by an arm or a cam, able to cooperate directly or indirectly with a switch electric so as to close it if and only if the indicator is in its "ready to to close ". The electrical information thus obtained makes it possible to send a signal back to the board. on the circuit breaker and to internal or external monitoring devices.

Referring to Figures 4 and 5, the circuit breaker comprises a pair of
La came d'indexation 26
bouton-poussoir.With reference to FIGS. 6 to 9, a
Le fonctionnement du dispositif est le suivant. The operation of the device is as follows.
In the position of FIG. 6, the switching
The rotation of the arming
At the end of the arming stroke, the
From the position of FIG. 7, the pivoting of the
figure 8.In this position, none of the three
position « armé débrayé ».If on the other hand, from the position of FIG. 7, a permanent order of opening is
transmitted to the
Various modifications are naturally possible without departing from the scope of the invention. In particular, it is possible to provide an indirect action of the opening lock on the indicator, through the drawer. To do this, it is sufficient to provide on the one hand a scope on the drawer, able to cooperate with the opening lock, so that the drawer is stressed out of its cooperation position with the push-button when it takes its position release and, on the other hand, a slot in an arc on the drawer, in which comes slide a finger carried by the fourth finger of the indicator. When the opening lock passes in the unlocked position, it carries with it the finger of the indicator light to the armed position Locked. When the indicator light is in the ready to close position, the arcuate slot of the drawer, centered on the sliding pivot of the drawer, allows the drawer to pivot when it is requested by the closing push-button.
Furthermore, it is possible to provide one or more electrical contacts giving a indication of the different LED states. These contacts can very easily be activated by one or more cams integral with the sight glass.
The invention has been described in connection with a circuit breaker. It is however also applicable to any switchgear with energy storage, for example to switchgear operating as a switch. The apparatus can be monopolar, in which case the bar of switching and the movable contact member can be completely integral, even confused, or multipolar. It can be limiting, in which case there is an articulation between the part of the contact member carrying the contact pads and the part of the contact member linked to the switching bar, or non-limiting, in which case this articulation is not always necessary.
The invention applies both to low voltage switchgear and to switchgear high tension.
The indicator can be pivoted around an imaginary axis. It can also take the form of a drawer moving in translation in front of the window.
