Description

The field of the invention is that of development interior of ships.

The invention relates to a method for mounting a partitioning on a wall of a ship's living quarters. A such partitioning can for example be constituted by a gangway partitioning.

The objective of the present invention is to provide a method mounting a partition on a ship's room wall implying low implementation costs.

  • poser et fixer au moins un élément de raccord au pied de ladite paroi ;
The subject of the invention is therefore a method of mounting a partition on a wall of a ship's accommodation already assembled, said partition consisting of a plurality of panels, characterized in that it comprises the steps consisting in:
  • placing and fixing at least one connecting element at the foot of said wall;
  • placing and fixing at least one connecting element to the head of said wall; and,
  • install and successively fix said panels on said connecting elements.

The general principle of the invention is therefore based on the joining, by means of fittings, of panels intended to constitute a partitioning on a wall of local living quarters of ship already assembled. The use of such connection means allows to obtain a predetermined and constant separation spacing between the partitioning and the wall.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, said partitioning constitutes an element of ship gangway. The process therefore makes it possible to equip ship cabins with at least one of their walls provided with a gangway partitioning. On this subject, it will be noted that, to the knowledge of the Applicant, no prefabricated cabin supplier only offers a cabin concept integrating, at the prefabrication level, a covering of the face corridor oriented cabin.

According to a variant of the method, said already mounted wall is provided with at least one head profile and at least one profile foot with which said head connector and said foot connection cooperates respectively.

Advantageously, the method comprises a step for adjusting said head connector element on said head profile allowing the adjustment of the verticality and the alignment of said panels opposite the same so-called panels of an adjacent room.

The head connector and the foot connector are such that they guarantee a constant and regular spacing between the partitioning and the wall.

  • la figure 1 présente les différentes étapes d'un procédé selon l'invention ;
Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear on reading the following description of a preferred embodiment of the invention, given by way of simple illustrative and nonlimiting example, and with reference to the appended drawings, in which :
  • Figure 1 shows the different steps of a method according to the invention;
  • 2 shows a sectional view of the connection between a panel of a partition and a wall of a ship's accommodation, at the foot thereof; and,
  • 3 shows a sectional view of the connection between a panel of a partition and a wall of ship accommodation, at the head thereof.

The wall 21 is already mounted, that is to say that it integral part of a ship's cabin. (On this subject, it will be noted that the method according to the invention can be implemented with a booth ship already installed on board the ship or in a prefabricated cabin which is not yet).

It also has in its lower part a lower section 24 of U-shaped section. The cabin rests on a floor 20 (in this case the deck of a ship).

According to the invention, at least one connecting element 22 is fixed at the foot of the cabin wall 21 thanks to fixing means 25. This element 22 cooperates with the profile 24 in which it can be slipped and has three portions 221, 222 and 223.

At least one head connection element 31 is then fixed to the head of the cabin wall 21 thanks to fixing means 36. This element cooperates with the profile 32 and has two portions 311 and 312 defining a section in L.

Note that the order of attachment of the head fittings and foot does not matter and that we can of course fix it first the head fittings.

The portions 222 of the foot connection and 311 of the head connection determine the spacing between the cabin wall 21 and the panels 23.

Une fois ce cloisonnement terminé, on peut procéder à la mise en place du plafond 35 de la coursive en utilisant des ferrures 34 et des moyens de fixation 39.Once the foot and head fittings are installed, a panel 23 by pressing it against the portion 312 of the connection head 31 and portion 223 of foot connector 22 and using fixing means 37 and 26. Successive panels can thus be positioned to constitute the partitioning of a passageway on along a cabin. Once this partitioning is complete, we can proceed with the installation of the ceiling 35 of the passageway using fittings 34 and fixing means 39.

Les différentes étapes de ce montage sont montrées à la figure 1.The different stages of this assembly are shown in the figure 1.

The preferred embodiment of the invention, presented in relationship with Figures 1 to 3, is not intended to reduce the scope of the invention, there may therefore be many modifications without departing from the framework thereof.
