the dispenser being suitable for being fitted to a container (1) provided with a neck (10), and comprising a dispenser member (2) mounted on the neck (10) of the container (1), said neck (10) forming an outwardly-extending peripheral thick portion (11) cooperating with the remainder of the neck to form a bottom shoulder (12), said fixing device comprising a fixing ring (20) for fixing the dispenser member to the neck, the fixing ring (20) being provided with a peripheral skirt (21) which extends to below said shoulder (12), said fixing device being characterized in that said skirt (21) is provided with flaps (22) whose free ends point inwards and upwards and come into abutment contact against the shoulder (12), thereby snap-fastening the fixing ring (20) to the neck (10) of the container (1). - A fixing device according to claim 1, in which the flaps (22) are pre-stressed to point inwards during manufacture of the fixing ring (20).
- A fixing device according to claim 1, in which the flaps are stressed to point inwards once the ring (20) is in position on the neck.
- A fixing device according to any preceding claim, in which the thickness of the wall of each of the flaps (22) is equal to or less than the thickness of the wall of the skirt (21) so that they do not project from the skirt as the flaps pass over the peripheral thick portion (11) of the neck.
- A fixing device according to any preceding claim, in which the flaps (22) are distributed circumferentially around the skirt (21).
- A fixing device according to any preceding claim, in which the fixing ring is made of a plastics material.
- A fixing device according to claim 6, in which the fixing ring is provided with windows (201) for passing mold pins suitable for forming the free ends of the flaps.
- A dispenser including a device according to any one of claims 1 to 7 and a dispenser member.
- A dispenser according to claim 9, further including a containing provided with a neck, said neck forming a peripheral thick portion defining a bottom shoulder.
- A fixing device for a dispenser for dispensing a fluid substance, the dispenser being suitable for being fitted to a container (1) provided with a neck (10), and comprising a dispenser member (2) mounted on the neck (10) of the container (1), said neck (10) forming an outwardly-extending peripheral thick portion (11) cooperating with the remainder of the neck to form a bottom shoulder (12), said fixing device comprising a fixing ring (20) for fixing the dispenser member to the neck, the fixing ring (20) being provided with a peripheral skirt (21) which extends to below said shoulder (12), said skirt being provided with snap-fastening means adapted to come under the shoulder of the neck, said fixing device being characterized in that a decorative band (23) is premounted on the fixing ring (20), receiving means being formed by the ring between the decorative band and the snap-fastening means, so that the snap-fastening means may be received in the receiving means when they are outwardly deformed.
- A fixing device according to claim 10, in which the decorative band (23) extends in contact with the skirt.
- A fixing device according to claim 10 or 11, in which the snap-fastening means comprises flaps adapted to abut under the shoulder (20).
- A fixing device according to claim 10 or 11, in which the receiving means comprises windows wherein the snap-fastening means are received when they are outwardly deformed.
- A mounting method of a fixing device according to claim 10 for a dispenser for dispensing a fluid substance, the dispenser being suitable for being fitted to a container (1) provide with a neck (10), and comprising a dispenser member (2) mounted on the neck (10) of the container (1), said neck (10) forming an outwardly-extending peripheral thick portion (11) cooperating with the remainder of the neck to form a bottom shoulder (12), said fixing device comprising a fixing ring (20) for fixing the dispenser member to the neck, the fixing ring (20) being provide with a peripheral skirt (21) which extends to below said shoulder (12), the method comprising the following steps:premounting a decorative band (23) on the ring,mounting the ring, with said premounted band, on the neck (10).
- A method according to claim 14, in which the decorative band extends in contact with the skirt throughout the whole of the height of the skirt.
- A method according to claim 14, in which the snap-fastening means are outwardly deformed during the passage of the thick portion (11) of the neck.
- A method according to claim 14, in which the snap-fastening means are received in receiving means formed by the ring between the band and the snap-fastening means during the passage of the thick portion (11) of the neck.
