Abstract

L'invention concerne un système réservoir (14) pour un flux multicouche d'articles en forme de tige, par exemple des cigarettes. Ce système peut se déplacer latéralement, de manière à modifier la position radiale dans laquelle des convoyeurs d'alimentation et d'évacuation (16, 18) entrent en contact respectivement avec les transporteurs (14A, 14B) à vis supérieur et inférieur dudit réservoir, faisant ainsi varier la capacité de ce réservoir, de par la modification de la longueur du flux sur lesdits transporteurs (20A, 20B) à vis. Dans d'autres modes de réalisation, le réservoir peut comprendre des transporteurs (11A, 11B) à vis se présentant sous la forme de spirales de faible épaisseur, les convoyeurs d'alimentation et d'évacuation (116, 118) pouvant pivoter ou se déplacer latéralement afin de suivre ces transporteurs à vis.
