Abstract

Es wird ein Dichtungselement (10) für Zahnradmaschinen vorgeschlagen, mit dem das Anlaufverhalten dieser Zahnradmaschine verbessert wird. Hierfür sind die mit den Lagerkörpern zusammenwirkenden Dichtungsabschnitte (22) des Dichtungselements (10) biegeelastischer als die, die Zahnradmaschine nach außen abdichtenden Dichtungsabschnitte (20, 24) ausgeführt. Bei Dichtungsabschnitten (20, 22, 24) mit u-förmigem Profilquerschnitt wird dies durch unterschiedliche Längen der Schenkel (38, 40) in Verbindung mit einer unsymmetrischen Querschnittsform ermöglicht. Unter Anlaufbedingungen, d. h. bei fehlendem Betriebsdruck, ist dadurch die auf die Lagekörper einwirkende Vorspannkraft reduziert, so daß mechanischer Verschleiß an den Stirnflächen der Zahnräder bzw. der Lagerkörper einer Zahnradmaschine vermindert wird.
