Abstract

The slide board comprises a central core (4), a slide block, ≥ 1 lower reinforcement layer and ≥ 1 upper reinforcement layer located on both sides of the board. An upper reinforcement layer is formed from two strips (10, 11) which are different in nature and extend onto each other from the central zone towards both ends. The strips (10, 11) are differentiated by the nature of the reinforcement material, or, in the case of 2 fiber-reinforced resin strips, by fiber orientation or weight. In the case of skis, the strips (10, 11) are superposed in the central zone of the board and reinforce the area of the ski where retaining elements are to be mounted.

Description

The invention relates to a gliding board used for the practice of alpine skiing or surfing of snow.

In known manner, such a board is formed of a central core and different layers reinforcement located above and below the core. As a reinforcing layer, coatings of glass, carbon or other fibers embedded in epoxy resin, or layers of metal, especially aluminum alloy layers.

Each of these reinforcing materials has well-defined properties. So, he is known that a ski with aluminum reinforcements has a soft contact with the snow, and that cushions the relief. Such a ski is powerful and well placed on the snow. It is more suitable for downhill or giant slalom practices.

On the other hand, a ski with fiber reinforcements is lively and nervous, it has a good rebound. This type of ski is suitable for bumps or the sequence of short turns.

An object of the invention is to propose a snowboard whose behavior on snow is improved in certain phases of gliding.

Document DE 42 09 992 A (VÖLKL) discloses a gliding board comprising a central core, a gliding sole, a lower reinforcing layer and an upper reinforcing layer formed of two loops.

The gliding board according to the invention comprises a central core, a gliding sole, at least one lower reinforcing layer, at least one upper reinforcing layer on both sides of the board. It is characterized in that at least the reinforcing layer superior is formed of two bands of different nature, which extend respectively into the extension one from the other from the central area of the ski to one and the other of its ends, the strips having a different nature by the nature of the reinforcing material used, or in the case of two resin bands reinforced with fibers, by the orientation of the fibers, or the grammage of the fibers.

According to a complementary feature, in the case of a ski, the nature bands different are superimposed in the central area of the board and form a platform in the ski area where the mounting of the retaining elements is planned.

The invention will be better understood with reference to the description below and the drawings in annex which form an integral part thereof.

La figure 1 représente schématiquement la structure éclatée d'un ski selon un premier mode de mise en oeuvre de l'invention.FIG. 1 schematically represents the exploded structure of a ski according to a first mode implementation of the invention.

Figure 5 relates to an alternative embodiment.

The ski shown diagrammatically in FIG. 1 presents in a known manner a spatula 1, a heel 2 and towards the middle a central zone 3. In known manner, this central zone is provided for mounting the front and rear retainers of the boot or, where appropriate, an intermediate interface plate.

The ski has a central core 4 which extends over substantially its entire length and which is surrounded by upper and lower reinforcement layers. Core 4 is of any suitable type, in wood, injected or otherwise, and will not be described in detail. In particular, the facilities possible he has the spatula and heel are within the reach of the skilled person.

Under the core, the ski has a gliding sole 5, with two side edges 5a and 5b. Above the sole extends a lower reinforcing layer 6. This layer extends from continuous way along the entire length of the ski. It is a layer of fibers, glass fibers or carbon, impregnated with resin of the epoxy resin type.

Above, the ski has a top layer of reinforcement 7 also made of resin army of fibers, and, above, one or more layers of decoration and protection 8 which extend over the entire length of the ski. Layer 8 is not represented as such in FIGS. 2 to 4. Preferably, as can be seen in FIGS. 2 to 4, these two layers 7 and 8 are folded on the side flanks of the ski, and go down to the edges. Of also preferably, the two upper and lower reinforcement layers 6 and 7 are likewise nature so as to balance the structure of the ski.

According to the invention, between the core and the upper reinforcing layer, that is to say above of the neutral fiber of the ski, the ski has an intermediate reinforcing layer formed by two separate strips 10 and 11. The strips extend in the extension of one another, respectively from the spatula 1 or the heel 2 of the ski to the central zone 3. In this central zone, preferably, and as shown, the bands overlap. Of this way, in this area, the structure of the ski is reinforced locally in the mounting area restraining elements.

The bands 10 and 11 are of different nature. According to the illustrated embodiment, the bands are of different nature by the material used. One of the bands is made of reinforced resin of fibers, the other band is formed by a layer of aluminum alloy. The band before 10 is an aluminum alloy sheet, and the rear band 11 is resin reinforced with fibers. Of preferentially, in the central area of the ski, the reinforced resin band passes over of the aluminum alloy strip. In the central area of the ski, one could foresee between the two ends of the strips 10 and 11 a layer of viscoelastic material. This layer would then be sheared in case of ski flexion.

Usually, a metal reinforcement layer is generally in the form of a leaf without lateral flaps that descend down the flanks; this is how the band 10 is shown in Figures 2 and 4. On the other hand, a resin reinforcement layer can be present with or without side flaps along the sides of the ski. Figures 3 and 4 show a strip 11 with two side flaps located under the flaps of the upper layer of These flaps could also be omitted. In this case, the band would only cover the upper face of the nucleus.

Preferably, under the core, the ski has bands of the same type as the strips 10 and 11, in order to balance the structure of the ski. These bands are located under the neutral fiber of the ski.

Thus, FIG. 1 represents two lower bands 14 and 15 situated under the core, in the extension of one another, respectively in the front and rear areas of the ski. The strips 14 and 15 are preferably of the same thickness. The lower band 14 located under the strip 10 is like it an aluminum alloy sheet. The lower band 15 located under the band 11 is a resin reinforced with fibers. The two lower bands 14 and 15 are join in the central area of the ski, but do not overlap, depending on the mode of illustrated achievement. At this level, complementary cuts can be made so that the ends of the strips fit into each other, so as to ensure continuity relative by avoiding jumps of constraints too brutal.

The assembly of the structure which has just been described is done according to a usual process. Of known way, the fiber reinforced resin reinforcement layers are pre-impregnated fabrics resin, and, in hardening, the resin also ensures the bonding of the layer during the ski cooking. The metal reinforcement strips, for their part, are assembled by means of additional hot melt glue films, which are inserted, between the back reinforcement layers 11 and 15 and the nucleus.

Figure 5 shows the ski of Figure 1 after assembly of the different layers. The part before 16 the ski is thinner than the back 17 and the central zone 18. This is due to only to balance the flexibility of the front and rear ski areas, the reinforcement strips above and below are closer to the neutral fiber than fiber reinforcement. In other words, to balance the flexibility of the front and back areas of the ski, one can play on the thickness of the reinforcement strips and / or on the thickness of the ski, that is to say the distance of the strips relative to the neutral fiber.

It is believed that for such a ski, the presence of metal alloy reinforcement strips on the front facilitates the passage of the ski in the reliefs. On the other hand, the presence of Reinforced resin reinforcement on the back gives a rebound at corner exit.

The behavior of the ski is modified in that it is more nervous at the exit of the turn and / or more stable in a straight line compared to a traditional ski that would have a structure of reinforcement entirely metallic or entirely of fibers.

The relative arrangement of the bands is however not limiting, and, conversely, one could provide reinforcement strips of resin reinforced with fibers on the front of the ski, and strips of metal alloy reinforcement on the back. Such a ski would be easy to trigger at the entrance of turn, and it would give a good stimulus out of curve and strong support.

Figure 6 illustrates an alternative embodiment of the invention. According to this variant, the core carries in its upper part an encaissement 20. The cashing extends in the zone covering the strips 22 and 23. Its depth is intended to accommodate the end of one strips, so that they have a substantially continuous upper surface in this zoned.

La figure 6 montre un encaissement 26 situé dans la partie inférieure du noyau, qui est prévu pour le recouvrement des bandes 24 et 25.Figure 6 shows a casing 26 located in the lower part of the core, which is provided for the recovery of strips 24 and 25.

The invention is not limited to the invention that has been described and other modes of implementation. are possible.

In particular, the reinforcement strips could be different by the nature of the fibers, by example of glass fibers on one side and carbon fibers on the other, carbon fibers having the distinction of being even more nervous than glass fibers. We could also use reinforcement strips that have different fiber orientations, for example in one case of fibers oriented longitudinally, and in the other case diagonally. The layers of fibers could still be rendered different by the grammage of the reinforcement, that is to say the proportion by weight of fibers. Other variants could be implemented the general idea of the invention being to make the stiffness and the nervousness of the front and back parts of the ski. In all cases, preferably, bands of similar nature above and below the core, respectively towards the spatula and heel of the ski.

It goes without saying that the invention applies in the same way to any type of gliding board, including snow surfing.
