Dadurch wird nicht zuletzt die Stellentfernung erheblich vergrößert, bis zu acht Kilometer bei Verwendung von Stromleitungen mit 2,5 mm2 . Die Erfindung macht es jedoch auch möglich, daß der Elektroantrieb mit Solarstrom auskommt. Dadurch kann eine völlig neue Stelltechnik im einschlägigen Anwendungsbereich eingeführt werden, indem die Trennschalter ortsflexibler werden.
