Description

Verfahren zum Spülen, Reinigen und Trocknen von Geschirr und Bestecken in einer programmgesteuerten Geschirrspülmaschine und Geschirrspülmaschine zur Durchführung des VerfahrensProcess for washing, cleaning and drying dishes and cutlery in a program-controlled Dishwasher and dishwasher to carry out the process

The invention relates to a method for washing, cleaning and drying dishes and cutlery in a program-controlled dishwasher, which can be selected individually Dishwashing programs, which have separate program sections, such as prewashing, cleaning, Include intermediate rinsing, rinsing and drying, is equipped, the pre-rinse and / or Intermediate rinse cycle can optionally be hidden, and the one metering device for one of the Dishwashing liquid dishwashing and / or cleaning agent to be added for dishes and cutlery baskets has been given washware. The invention further relates to a dishwasher to carry out the procedure.

It is generally known that tarnished silver cutlery or correspondingly discolored tableware with silver-containing surfaces by manual laborious polishing or immersion in to make suitable silver care products with subsequent polishing shiny again. This procedure is time-consuming and also due to the strong odor development chemicals used extremely unpleasant. Known silver baths, such as that described in DE 297 03 010 U1 and under the trade name "Silver Queen "silver care products offered require large amounts of hot water to be active his. After immersing the silver cutlery items, all cutlery items must be checked again be rinsed by hand and dried. Such fiddling is time consuming and little water-saving. There is also a risk that young children with the open chemicals come into contact and damage your health.

It is also known to prevent silver discoloration on cutlery in dishwashers, by individual basket walls or the basket base of a cutlery basket holding the cutlery items be made of aluminum, such as in DE-GM 69 135 28 is described. The manufacture of such cutlery baskets is relatively expensive and only in Multiple work steps possible because basket parts are made from different materials are. In addition, the cutlery in contact with the aluminum walls can be placed in the basket scratch easily. Since the cutlery in the basket also touch, spray jet shadows are created, so that the desired polishing effect does not occur and therefore the cutlery is not optimal getting cleaned.

In addition, there is also a surface treatment process, especially for table service and jewelry known in which the wash ware is stored in a rotatable polishing drum and rotated together with balls in a soapy water. Due to the cleaning effect of the soapy water and the mechanical ball work becomes the surface of the material to be treated again lasting gloss. Such a process is due to the totally on dishwashers different device designs are not transferable.

Based on a washing process for cutlery, dishes and similar items to be washed in a program-controlled Dishwasher with selectable dishwasher programs Invention, the object of the program run of the dishwasher and their Set up so that silverware and silver cutlery machine in a dishwasher can be optimally prepared with simple means.

From EP-A-186 157 a dishwasher is included a cutlery basket for receiving cutlery known.

The object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claims 1 and 10.

Advantageous developments of the invention can be found in the subclaims.

The invention advantageously makes it possible to discolour surfaces of silverware and silver cutlery gently and sustainably in a dishwasher. A suitable environmentally friendly silver care product is used to prepare the cutlery used, the cleaning of the silver wash ware separately or in a common Batch can be done with common household items such as porcelain cups, plates, etc. in the Contrary to known diving baths, in which the tarnished silver parts, such as cutlery or the like. Dipped manually and separately and also manually polished or cleaned all silver wash ware can be combined mechanically and time-saving simply and gently prepared in the dishwasher with the rest of the dishes getting cleaned. Such a procedure is hygienic or safe with regard to to use the chemicals used, as well as being user-friendly and very effective. For silver care the correct amount of silver care product is automatically applied directly to the Cutlery items sprayed or dissolved in flushing water in an environmentally friendly amount and indirectly in Lye circulation applied to the silver dishes using the spray arms. By acting of the silver treatment agent and the intensive rinsing work of the rinsing solution is done without scouring Polishing work achieved a gentle silver cleaning of the dishes. The special design the recordings for the silverware in the baskets or cutlery trays, the Dishes to be prepared for treatment are stored individually without touching each other and during treatment in the rinsing liquid provided with the added care product immersed, enables optimal preparation of the dishes as well as optimal ones Cleaning and drying results. After preparation, this can be done with the silver cleaner Contacted rinse water disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner for a further treatment process temporarily stored or discharged directly from the household appliance into the sewer become.

According to FIG. 1, the invention is based on a commercially available program-controlled program known per se Dishwasher (1), e.g. B. Miele-G570, with metering devices arranged on the inside of the door (2) for detergents, cleaners and other additives as well as with an over Program switch (3) selectable program control (4) for the selection of cleaning and Dishwashing programs that are available as so-called standard or dishwashing programs. Such dishwashing programs are multi-course programs and contain separate program sections, such as pre-rinsing, cleaning, intermediate rinsing, rinsing and drying dishes, wherein the pre-rinse and / or intermediate rinse cycle can optionally be hidden. The one in the dishwasher (1) Existing metering devices (2) can be called up under program control and meter the corresponding additive in the rinsing or cleaning process of the rinsing liquid or cleaner from separate dosing chamber (2a to 2d). The dishes to be cleaned, such as plates, cups, etc. made of porcelain, ceramics, glass or plastic as well as cutlery the crockery baskets (5, 6) or in the cutlery basket, which is advantageously designed as a cutlery drawer (7) is stored in the wash cabinet (8). The cutlery drawer (7) according to FIG. 1 is separate stored in a drawer-like manner in the wash cabinet (8). 4 is one A further cutlery drawer (7) can be moved on the upper basket (6) detachably attached.

The crockery baskets (5, 6) and the cutlery drawer (7), which are open when the appliance door (9) for loading and unloading the dishes from the wash cabinet (8) of the dishwasher (1) can be pulled out, spray devices (10, 11, 12) in the wash cabinet (8) are assigned, which the dishes stored in the baskets from above and from below with the through the circulation pump (13), Fig. 4, act on the circulating rinsing liquid. In the in Cutlery drawer (7) integrated in the rinsing water circuit can accommodate large and small cutlery items (14, 14 '), such as spoons, forks, knives, ladles etc. for rinsing and without mutual touch can be stored or arranged lying on the side. Therefore is the cutlery drawer (7) from a flat, basket-like frame (15) in the basic dimensions a crockery basket (5 or 6) formed, which one or more flat Basket inserts (16) preferably interchangeable. According to the chosen execution type 2, two basket inserts (16) are provided, which with cutlery holders (17) are equipped for the occasional storage of the cutlery parts (14, 14 '). The basket floors (18) of the basket inserts (16) are designed like a sieve for a flushing liquid (SP) to flow through. There is a basket insert (16) as an "immersion bath" or receptacle (19) for silver cutlery items (14 ') trained.

The cutlery receptacles (17) consist of molded on the basket base (18) of the cutlery drawer (7) Cutlery holders (17a) and separate cutlery supports (17b), the cutlery holder (17a) in a manner known per se as toothed strips and the cutlery supports (17b) as strips are preferably sawtooth and / or cutting-shaped contact surfaces. The Cutlery holder (17a) and the cutlery supports (17b) are parallel to each other in the basket inserts aligned. The sorted pieces of cutlery are removed from the side of the cutlery holders (17a) supported so that there is no contact with the neighboring cutlery parts. The knife-shaped cutlery supports (17b) advantageously only touch the cutlery at points, so that water drops cannot adhere to the dishes and the dishes are cleaned and drying optimally without any water stains and without residual contamination can be done. Cutlery receptacles (17) designed in this way are, for example known from EP 0 186 157 A1.

Standard wash ware, such as cutlery made of stainless steel or crockery made of porcelain with decors Dishwasher-safe glaze can usually be machine-cleaned without problems because the known dishwashing detergents or cleaners are gentle on the material for such wash ware. On Even items to be washed made of silver or items with silver surfaces can be safely placed in the dishwasher be rinsed. Such items are e.g. B. silver cutlery or Tableware, such as silver plates and the like. Since silver has been used for cutlery, discoloration (so-called tarnishing) of the silver surfaces are known, both in use as well as when packaged new. The initially shiny appearance turns into a faint tan that can go as far as a deep black. This phenomenon is caused by sulfur compounds in the air, possibly in water and can also occur in dishes. While drying with manual rinsing the cutlery has a certain abrasive polishing effect and discolouration on this meadow pushed out, this effect is missing in the dishwasher. Behaves similarly it with silver-plated washware.

Since a dishwasher is not so easy on the function of polishing cutlery According to the invention, the program control (4) of the dishwasher can be converted or expanded (1) a selectable program variant (S) silver care for processing of dishes with silver surfaces, such as silver cutlery (14 ') or the like. Supplemented by Fig. 4 is shown in simplified form. When this program variant is selected, the wash ware is also included treated with a silver cleaning and / or silver care agent (SM) added to the rinsing liquid, which removes the discoloration on the silver tableware. This is done in that the Items to be washed in the dishwasher run with the silver cleaning and / or silver care agent (SM) from the metering device (2, 2d) is continuously wetted, the processed Flushing liquid (SP) through the open-topped receptacle (19) with the silver washware (14 ') is directed. The wetting of the dishes with the silver cleaning and / or silver care agent can, depending on the effectiveness of the silver agent used, in a cold or warm rinsing tank atmosphere respectively. In contrast to known immersion baths with "standing" treatment liquid offers the flow through the receptacle (19) with that in the dishwasher (1) prepared rinsing liquid (SP) has the advantage that it is always clean from possible Dirty or food residues filtered out treatment liquid is used. That all the time Flushing water in motion practically exerts a "polishing effect" on the silverware (14 ') out. In addition, dirt on the cutlery is also rinsed off and from intercepted filter system of the dishwasher, not shown.

The silver care and / or silver cleaning agent (SM) can be used to wet the dishes in the Rinsing area (8) on the silverware (cutlery parts 14, 14 'etc.) by spraying directly on of the spray devices (11, 12) or by a separate feed system 20 (e.g. according to Fig. 4) are applied in the immersion process. The immersion method is preferred with the complete immersion of the silver ware in the treatment bath or in the silver agent (SM) offset circulating flushing liquid (SP). For immersion as well as an alternative the one equipped with the cutlery receptacles (17) is used for spraying the cutlery parts (14, 14 ') Receiving container (19) according to the invention of the cutlery drawer (7) according to Embodiment Fig. 2, 3 and 4. The receptacle (19) as a modified basket insert 16 can also form the cutlery drawer (7). But it can also according to FIG. 4 Be part of a crockery basket (6), Fig. 4, or removable in such a basket be set. The silver detergent (SM) is conveniently a separate dosing chamber (e.g. 2d) in the metering device (2).

The receptacle (19) is trough-shaped or bowl-shaped, in particular for the immersion process designed and with one or more rinsing water drains (21) on the tub floor (22) educated. The trough bottom (22) is at a distance from the bottom of its assigned basket insert (16) arranged so that rinsed dirt from the cutlery is below the treatment bath collect and also be discharged via the rinse water drains (21) can.

The tub receives the basket insert (16) with the cutlery receptacles (17) so that the cutlery isolated and can be stored lying on its side. It is also possible, the trough-shaped receptacle (19) with openings on the trough bottom (22) to be provided, this on the cutlery receptacles (17) of the basket insert (16) of a standard Cutlery drawer (7) can be placed so that the cutlery holders (cutlery holder (17a) and / or cutlery pads (17b)) leak through the bottom of the receptacle (19). This leak also allows the silver rinsing liquid in the tub to drain. The leak in the tub base (22) or the drains (21) of the receptacle (19) according to FIGS. 2 and 3 are chosen so that the receptacle in the washing process (19) inflowing water quantity always a multiple of the outflowing flushing water quantity is.

It makes it easier to store the cutlery when the receptacle (19) is combined with the cutlery drawer (7) above the upper crockery basket (6), as shown in Fig. 1, is arranged. The arrangement on the basket frame can also be advantageous for operability of the crockery upper basket (6) according to FIG. 4.

Niveau (N), Fig. 3.According to the example according to FIG. 4, the receptacle arranged on or in the upper basket (6) has (19) for the silver cutlery (14 ') a separate branch from the circulation circuit Rinse water connection (20) from the inlet (23) of the upper basket (6) branching spray arm (11). The rinse water connection (20) is in the bottom of the receptacle (19) provided and covered by a baffle plate (24). This ensures that the rinsing liquid supplied to the container with the silver care and / or silver cleaning agent directed into the receptacle (19) can flow. The silver treatment agent (SM) is dosed at a rinse water temperature of approx. 75 ° C. The rinse water circulation circuit is set by program so that the tub is constantly filled, sh. Level (N), Fig. 3.

With the selection of the silver care program according to the invention, the water intake takes place in the wash cabinet (8) via the fresh water connection (25) of the device and then heating the flushing liquid (SP) to a suitable one by means of the device's own heater (not shown) Application temperature (e.g. 70-80 ° C). The circulation pump (13) is then stopped and the water not yet mixed with silver detergent runs in about 4 to 5 minutes. out the receptacle (19) out. Then the silver care and / or cleaning agent (SM) by means of the assigned metering device (2, 2d) of the door-mounted combination metering device the heated flushing liquid is metered while the circulation pump (13) is running. When switched on Circulation pump (13) fills the rinsing liquid with the silver detergent Receiving container (19) in the pass so that the sorted silver cutlery (14 ') completely dips. Since more and more rinsing liquid gets into the container than flows out at the top and bottom the bath level (N) remains. At the end of treatment with switched off Water circuit ensures the leakage of the receptacle (19) or Tub drain the emptying of the container in the aforementioned time of about 4-5 minutes. A safety device (not shown), which is not shown, prevents that when the machine is stationary Circulation pump (13) rinsing liquid runs from the tub back into the spray arm system. All rinsing liquid from the receptacle (19) runs out through the drain openings (21).

It is advisable to regulate the spray activity in the preparation of silver dishes by the circulation pump (13) is only operated temporarily, e.g. B. 3 seconds and 30 seconds out. A constant liquor circulation would make the reductive bleaching agent of the silver treatment agent (SM) easily decomposed by dissolved atmospheric oxygen. After emptying the The receptacle (19) (after about 20-30 sprays) is mixed with the silver agent Pumped liquid out of the dishwasher (1) and there is an intermediate and rinse cycle with subsequent drying.

For the silver care, the right amount of silver care agent is always put on the Cutlery items sprayed or dissolved in flushing water in an environmentally friendly amount and in Lye circulation applied to the silverware (14 ') by means of the spray arms (10 to 12). By the action of the silver treatment agent and the intensive rinsing work of the rinsing solution a gentle silver cleaning of the wash ware is achieved without scouring or polishing. After treatment, the rinse water contacted with silver cleaner can be environmentally friendly disposed of, cached for a further preparation process or directly from the Household appliance are discharged into the sewer (26).

The program variant "silver care" according to the invention is either an integrated component at least one of the selectable known or generally customary dishwashing programs, or can be presented as a separate program section "Silver Care" (additional program) or after the "Cleaning" program section of a selectable (standard) dishwasher program be displayed.

It is also possible to use the program variant as a separately selectable program-controlled silver care program train if preferably only silverware in the dishwasher is loaded. The program variant includes a separately selectable silver care program (S) at least as an independent standard program next to the program section "Silver Care" nor the water-carrying program section "cleaning" and / or "rinsing" one usual dishwashing program, preferably also the drying cycle selected is.

By querying the position of the manual by the program control of the device Program selector switch (3) or a special function key "silver care" can The start of the washing program can be decided, like a selected special program "silver care" to be incorporated into the program run. The additional according to the invention Program variant (S) "Silver care" can be called up manually or by machine program. There the usual dishwashing programs can be maintained, silver ware separately or prepared and / or cleaned together with the other dishes in the dishwasher become.

The processing of silver dishes can be done by using low voltage for electrochemistry are also supported.

Fig. 4) anschaltet. In this procedure, the opposite side walls (27) of the receptacle (19) with electrodes (28), for which a suitable one on each side wall (27) Electrode material, for example, a stainless steel strip is provided as an anode (positive pole). The two Electrodes (28) are connected to one another in an electrically conductive manner. In the middle of the container (19) a silver wire (29) is stretched as a cathode (negative pole). The silver cutlery (14 ') is inserted that it has direct contact with the cathode as a negative pole electrode. As an electrolyte z. B. 40 g of a powder (consisting of 97% trisodium citrate, 2% soda and 1% surfactant) dosed. A DC power supply unit (30) is connected to the receptacle (19) (e.g. 15 V, 0.4 A), the low voltage in the silver care program preferably in cycles (see Fig. 4) turns on. Experiments have shown that repeated switching on and off the power source in (1-2) second intervals after 2 minutes a much better distance from the Coverings is reached than when the power is switched on for 2 minutes.

A silver care program supported by electrochemistry runs as follows:

The silver wash program is, for example, between the program sections Prewash and Cleaning controlled. After running in a predetermined amount of rinsing liquid (e.g. 7 liters) The circulation pump (13) is started in the silver care program section in the wash cabinet (8) and shortly thereafter the electrolyte from the metering device is metered into the circulating rinsing liquid. After a solution and distribution phase (approx. 2 minutes), the circulating pump circuit is filled arranged receptacle (19) switched on the power supply. A clock relay ensures that the power is switched on and off continuously every 2 seconds. The circulation pump (13) is switched off after a total of 10 minutes, whereupon the receptacle (19) runs empty within 5 minutes. Then the power supply is switched off. After these 5 minutes, all of the water is drained off using a drain pump on the device pumped out the wash cabinet (8). Then you can use the usual dishwashing program with the Program sections cleaning, rinsing, rinsing and drying are continued, or if clean silverware was loaded, just rinse and dry.

In the silver treatment process supported by the electrochemistry with the aforementioned It has been found that both in cold and in warm treatment liquid parameters the desired silver cleaning or treatment, i.e. the removal of the discoloration takes only a few seconds.

It should also be mentioned that the silver cleaning and / or silver care agent in the separate per Program retrievable chamber (2d) (Fig. 1), the metering device (2) is stored. It can but also the existing chamber for dishwashing detergent as a dosing chamber for the silver agent or the electrolyte can be used if, for example, only the silver care program is running should. The metering device can also be used as an auxiliary device connected to the machine be formed, which is also in operative connection with the program control of the Dishwasher (1) and from this the command to release the silver agent in the Receives rinsing liquid.

The silver agent and / or the electrolyte is in its respective dosage amount or concentration of the selected wash program, of the wash load and / or of each the flushing water quantity is controlled depending on. At half the machine load, e.g. B. at only with the upper basket loaded, a different mixing ratio will be required than with a full one loaded device.

The silver cleaning and / or silver care agent (SM) is in the form of a liquid, in pasty Form or as a tablet or granules or powder in the metering device (2). there is expediently a sufficient amount for several silver cleaning cycles Silver cleaning and / or silver care products in a storage magazine or container (dosing chamber 2d) of the dosing device (2). For wetting the dishes with the Silver agent can also be your own coupled directly to the separate metering device (2) Nozzle system can be provided.
