Presse à repasser, comprenant un socle (1) portant un plateau de repassage (6) , une jeannette (7) et un bras articulé (3) de manoeuvre d'une plaque chauffante (4), mobile entre au moins deux positions, dans l'une desquelles ladite plaque chauffante (4) est pressée contre ledit plateau de repassage (6) ou ladite jeannette (7), ce plateau de repassage (6) et cette jeannette (7) étant montés sur ledit socle (1) de manière à permettre leur déplacement mutuel en alternance d'une position de travail à une position escamotée et vice versa, caractérisée en ce que ledit plateau de repassage (6) et ladite jeannette (7) sont chacun articulés, au moins indirectement, audit socle (1) et sont reliés l'un à l'autre par un organe de liaison (15) destiné à établir une liaison cinématique entre eux.1.
