Abstract

Bekannt ist ein Backofen mit einem Backraum mit einer Backraumöffnung, die durch eine Tür verschließbar ist, und mit einem Kühllüfter, der einen Kühlluftstrom aus einer Ausblasöffnung im Frontbereich des Backofens oberhalb der Backraumöffnung ins Freie drückt. Um mit einfachen Mitteln zu verhindern, daß beim Öffnen der Tür einer Bedienperson heiße Luft bzw. Wrasen entgegenströmt, ist im Bereich der Ausblasöffnung ein Strömungsleitmittel vorgesehen, daß durch das Öffnen der Tür aktiviert oder freigegeben wird und das den ausgeblasenen Kühlluftstrom im Bereich der Backraumöffnung nach unten leitet.
