Appareil électrique de cuisson, comportant un boîtier (1) formant un logement (3) prévu pour recevoir une cuve (4) amovible, des moyens de chauffe (5) en relation thermique avec la cuve (4) lorsque celle-ci est disposée dans le logement (3), des moyens de régulation thermique (6), des moyens de sécurité ultimes (7) prévus pour palier la défaillance des moyens de régulation thermique (6), caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un limiteur thermique (8) monté sur un support (14) disposé dans le boîtier (1), ledit limiteur étant susceptible de se déclencher avant les moyens de sécurité ultimes (7) lorsque la cuve (4) n'est pas disposée dans le logement (3).1.
