Die erfindungsgemäße Duschabtrennung zeichnet sich durch eine einfache, funktionsgerechte Konstruktion aus und gewährleistet eine dauerhafte Befestigung und Sicherung der Platte des Türelements. Die Platte des Türelements ist entlang wenigstens einer vertikalen Längskante in eine Längsnut des Profils eingesetzt und zusätzlich mittels eines Kopplungselements formschlüssig gesichert. Die insbesondere aus Silikatglas bestehende transparente Platte des Türelements enthält im Randbereich wenigstens eine Ausnehmung, in welche das Kopplungselement eingreift. In zweckmäßiger Weise ist sowohl am unteren als auch am oberen horizontalen Rand der Platte eine nach unten bzw. oben offene Ausnehmung für das Kopplungselement vorgesehen. Alternativ kann die Ausnehmung eine die Platte durchdringende Bohrung oder dergleichen sein. Das Kopplungselement ist ferner mit dem Profil verbunden und in zweckmäßiger Weise als einteiliger Kunststoffkörper ausgebildet. Mittels der beiden Kopplungselemente wird die Platte axial in Richtung der Profilnut gesichert und festgelegt. Weiterhin ist in bevorzugter Weise die Platte des Türelements mit dem genannten vertikalen Profil mittels einer Klebeverbindung verbunden. Das Kopplungselement und/oder das Profil enthalten in einer besonderen Ausgestaltung einen Teil mit einem inneren Hohlraum, in welchem ein Zapfen des Scharniers eines benachbarten Türelements oder eines Wandprofils eingreift. Das Kopplungselement ist vorteilhaft als eine Kappe ausgebildet, welche am oberen und/oder unteren Ende des genannten vertikalen Profils angeordnet und mit diesem verbunden ist. Fig. 1 zeigt schematisch die als Faltwand ausgebildete Duschabtrennung mit drei Türelementen 1, 2, 3, welche um vertikale Schwenkachsen gegeneinander schwenkbar sind. In der dargestellten auseinandergeschwenkten Position werden diese Türelemente 1, 2, 3 über dem Rand eine hier nicht weiter dargestellten Wanne, insbesondere Badewanne angeordnet, um beim Duschen ein Austreten von Spritzwasser zu vermeiden. Im nichtbenutzten Zustand können die Türelemente in Richtung des Pfeiles 4 über den Innenraum der Wanne geschwenkt und zusammengefaltet werden. Die Schenkel 26, 27 mit dem einteilig verbundenen Bolzen 24 sind integrale Bestandteile des Kopplungselements 12, welches einen in Verlängerung des Profils 10 angeordneten und in zweckmäßiger Weise an dessen Außenkontur angepaßten Teil 28 aufweist. Der Teil 28 und/oder das Profil 10 enthalten innen einen Hohlraum 30, in welchen der bereits erwähnte Zapfen zur gelenkigen Verbindung mit dem benachbarten Türelement eingreift. Wie ersichtlich, ist in Verlängerung der Längsnut 18 des Profils 10 im Kopplungselement 12 eine entsprechende Nut bzw. ein Freiraum 32 vorhanden, in welchem die Ecke 34 der Platte 7 angeordnet ist. Claims

A shower partition with at least one door element (1-3), capable in particular of pivoting about a vertical axis, which contains a plate (6-8), in particular of glass, and a profile (10, 11) which is vertical when in the installed state, whereby the plate (6-8) engages with at least one of its longitudinal edges in a longitudinal slot (18) of the profile (10, 11),
characterised in that,
at the upper and/or lower end of the profile (10, 11), a coupling element (12, 13) is provided for, which engages with a bolt (24) in a cut-out (22) of the plate (6-8).
The shower partition according to Claim 1, characterised in that the cut-out (22) is provided in the essentially horizontal edge (20) of the plate (6-8) and/or is designed as a cut-out (22) open to the edge (20).
The shower partition according to Claim 1, characterised in that the cut-out is designed as a passage hole or the like, arranged in the edge area of the plate.
The shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the coupling element (12, 13) is arranged at the upper and/or lower end of the profile (10, 11) and exhibits a free space (32) for accommodating the comer of the plate (6-8).
The shower partition according to Claim 4, characterised in that the free space (32) is arranged between two limbs (26, 27) of the coupling element (12, 13) arranged at a distance from one another, and/or that the free space (32) is arranged in an extension of the longitudinal slot (18).

The shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the free space (32) of the coupling element (12, 13) is arranged at least partially in an extension of the longitudinal slot (18).
The shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the coupling element (12, 13) and the limbs (26, 27) and the bolt (24) are designed as single pieces, particularly made of plastic.
The shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the coupling element (12, 13) exhibits a part (28) with essentially the same outer contour as the profile (10, 11).
The shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the coupling element (12, 13) and/or the profile (10) exhibits a cavity (30) for a pivot of the hinge element (14, 15), whereby the hinge element (14, 15) is connected to an adjacent door element or a fixed wall profile.
The shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that a sealing profile (40) is arranged on the lower edge of the door element (1-3), which is arranged continuously over the area of the hinge of the adjacent door elements (1-3) and/or that the pivot axis (16) is arranged at a lateral interval from the sealing profile (40).
The shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the sealing profile (40) exhibits two sealing lips (42, 43), for preference pointing downwards, and is arranged for preference in profile strips (44), which are connected to the lower edges of the door elements (1, 3).
The shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the sealing profile (40) and/or its sealing lips (42, 43) is/are arranged in a lateral offset in relation to the vertical plane of the individual door element (1-3).
The shower partition according to one of Claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the minimum of one profile (10, 11) of the door element (1-3) exhibits an integrated strip handle (50), which is arranged for preference on the side fumed towards the interior (52).
The shower partition according to Claim 14, characterised in that the strip handle (50) is designed as curved, whereby for preference a free space (54) is present between the strip handle (50) and the plate (6-8) of the door element (1-3).
