Die erfindungsgemäße Duschabtrennung zeichnet sich durch eine einfache, funktionsgerechte Konstruktion aus und gewährleistet eine dauerhafte Befestigung und Sicherung der Platte des Türelements. Die Platte des Türelements ist entlang wenigstens einer vertikalen Längskante in eine Längsnut des Profils eingesetzt und zusätzlich mittels eines Kopplungselements formschlüssig gesichert. Die insbesondere aus Silikatglas bestehende transparente Platte des Türelements enthält im Randbereich wenigstens eine Ausnehmung, in welche das Kopplungselement eingreift. In zweckmäßiger Weise ist sowohl am unteren als auch am oberen horizontalen Rand der Platte eine nach unten bzw. oben offene Ausnehmung für das Kopplungselement vorgesehen. Alternativ kann die Ausnehmung eine die Platte durchdringende Bohrung oder dergleichen sein. Das Kopplungselement ist ferner mit dem Profil verbunden und in zweckmäßiger Weise als einteiliger Kunststoffkörper ausgebildet. Mittels der beiden Kopplungselemente wird die Platte axial in Richtung der Profilnut gesichert und festgelegt. Weiterhin ist in bevorzugter Weise die Platte des Türelements mit dem genannten vertikalen Profil mittels einer Klebeverbindung verbunden. Das Kopplungselement und/oder das Profil enthalten in einer besonderen Ausgestaltung einen Teil mit einem inneren Hohlraum, in welchem ein Zapfen des Scharniers eines benachbarten Türelements oder eines Wandprofils eingreift. Das Kopplungselement ist vorteilhaft als eine Kappe ausgebildet, welche am oberen und/oder unteren Ende des genannten vertikalen Profils angeordnet und mit diesem verbunden ist. Zur Montage wird zunächst die Klebe- und/oder Klemmverbindung hersgetellt und anschließend wird das Kopplungselement 12 am oberen Ende des Profils 10 angeordnet, wobei der Bolzen 24 in die offene Ausnehmung 22 in vertikaler Richtung von oben eingeschoben wird. Nachfolgend wird das Kopplungselement 12 mittels hier nicht weiter dargestellter Verbindungsmittel fest verbunden. Es ist somit eine dauerhafte formschlüssige Verbindung zwischen dem Profil 10 und der Platte 7 zur Sicherung derselben gewährleistet. Der Bolzen 24 ist durchgehend vom gemäß Zeichnung hinteren Schenkel 26 zum vorderen Schenkel 27 ausgebildet und integraler Bestandteil des Kopplungselements 12. Die Schenkel 26, 27 mit dem einteilig verbundenen Bolzen 24 sind integrale Bestandteile des Kopplungselements 12, welches einen in Verlängerung des Profils 10 angeordneten und in zweckmäßiger Weise an dessen Außenkontur angepaßten Teil 28 aufweist. Der Teil 28 und/oder das Profil 10 enthalten innen einen Hohlraum 30, in welchen der bereits erwähnte Zapfen zur gelenkigen Verbindung mit dem benachbarten Türelement eingreift. Wie ersichtlich, ist in Verlängerung der Längsnut 18 des Profils 10 im Kopplungselement 12 eine entsprechende Nut bzw. ein Freiraum 32 vorhanden, in welchem die Ecke 34 der Platte 7 angeordnet ist. Claims (15)
