Abstract

Abgaskrümmer, insbesondere für turbogeladene Verbrennungsmotoren mit mehreren zwischen einem ersten, motorseitigen Flansch (1) und einem zweiten, gasaustrittsseitigen Flansch (11) verlaufenden, im Bereich des zweiten Flansches (11) eine starke Krümmung, insbesondere im Bereich von ca. 90°, aufweisenden Abgasleitungen (4, 14), wobei zur Verringerung des Gewichtes des Abgaskrümmers die Abgasleitungen Rohre (4) aus Metall-, insbesondere Stahlblech und mindestens ein von diesen separates, im Bereich des zweiten Flansches (11) angeordnetes Gasumlenkelement (6) mit Abgaskanälen (14) aus Guß- oder Schmiedemetall, insbesondere - stahl umfassen, und wobei die Rohre (4) mit ihrem einen Ende an den ersten Flansch (1) und mit ihrem anderen Ende an das Gasumlenkelement (6) angeschlossen sind.
