Definitions
- the invention relates to a roller shutter comprising a manual drive device including a mechanism for reduction of the movement of a pulley of the train type nested epicyclic, said pulley being provided adapted to be driven by a traction member, such as a strap, cord, chain or the like, for rotation control of a winding shaft of the roller shutter deck, this shaft being kept in rotation at its ends by bearings associated with supporting cheeks.
- a manual drive device including a mechanism for reduction of the movement of a pulley of the train type nested epicyclic, said pulley being provided adapted to be driven by a traction member, such as a strap, cord, chain or the like, for rotation control of a winding shaft of the roller shutter deck, this shaft being kept in rotation at its ends by bearings associated with supporting cheeks.
- the present invention will find its application in the field roller shutters and concerns, more particularly, a manual drive device for such roller shutters.
- this type of provision of the reduction mechanism leads to a shutter box rolling of greater width.
- this roller shutter box including the sleeping frame of a door, window or the like must take position in the doorway even so that said box does not may have a width greater than that of said frame sleeping. If, under such conditions, one is led to reduce the length of the winding shaft due to a bulky gear mechanism, it results, necessarily, a wider roller shutter curtain low, therefore, a clear window, at a window by example, more reduced.
- the pulley defines, here, a crown, provided internally, a toothing engaged with one or more satellites rotatably mounted on a satellite carrier by elsewhere made integral with the awning winding shaft.
- the satellite has, here, a double toothing, one in engagement with the crown of the pulley, while the other cooperates with the teeth of a fixed planetary in rotation.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a advantageous solution in this field of devices manual drive for roller shutters with a mechanism for reducing the movement of a pulley provided capable of being driven by a traction member, such as a strap, cord, chain or the like, for rotation control of a winding shaft of the roller shutter deck, this shaft winding being kept in rotation at its ends by bearings associated with support cheeks, at least the bearing associated with the support cheek on the side of the pulley being defined by a tubular end-piece on which is mounted in rotation a sleeve with which the corresponding end is provided of the winding shaft, this tubular end defining, internally, a housing characterized in that said housing receives said mechanism of reduction.
- a traction member such as a strap, cord, chain or the like
- this reduction mechanism is of the planetary gear type nested.
- this invention relates to the field of roller shutters provided with a manual type drive device.
- FIG. 1 there is shown in Figure 1 such a component roller 1 comprising, housed inside a box 2, a winding shaft 3, notably visible in FIG. 2 around which is made to wind an apron 4.
- This winding shaft 3 is held, at its ends 5, by bearings 6 associated with support cheeks 7 and allowing its free rotation driven by a manual drive device 8 also taking a position inside this box 2.
- this drive device 8 is defined, essentially, by a pulley 9 provided capable of being driven by any traction device, such as a strap, cord, chain or the like, falling out of the box 2, in a manner accessible to a user.
- any traction device such as a strap, cord, chain or the like
- this pulley 9 ensures control in rotation of the winding shaft 3, through a mechanism reduction 10.
- At least the associated bearing 6 at the cheek support 7, on the side of the pulley 9, is defined by a tubular end piece 11 on which is rotatably mounted the corresponding end 5 of the winding shaft 3, this tubular end piece 11 and, where appropriate, partly said end 5 of this winding shaft 3 defining, internally, a housing 12 for receiving said reduction mechanism 10.
- this tubular tip 11 associated with the cheek support 7 defines the bearing 6 with which comes to cooperate, in being fitted onto the latter, a sleeve 13 fitted, advantageously, this end 5 of the winding shaft 3.
- this reduction mechanism 10 is of the train type nested epicyclic.
- the pulley 9, arranged outside the support cheek 7, this with respect to the winding shaft 3, comprises, in its center, a shaft 14 which is integral with it in rotation and mounted to rotate at a level 15 associated with said cheek support 7 while crossing the latter of so as to extend, axially, in the housing 12.
- this tree 14 comprises, according to a first mode of realization, a satellite carrier 16 which is integral with it rotation and on which are mounted, coaxially, one or more several satellite wheels 17. More precisely, this or these satellite wheels 17 are mounted rotating on an axis 18 maintained, through the satellite carrier 16, parallel to the shaft 14.
- this or these satellite wheels 17 mesh, through at least one toothing 19, on the one hand, on a first toothed crown 20 formed at the level of the wall internal 21 of the tubular end piece 11 and, on the other hand, on a second ring gear 22 associated with the winding shaft 3.
- this second ring gear 22 is formed at the level of the internal wall 23 corresponding to a bore 24 at the sleeve 13 associated with the end 5 of said winding shaft 3.
- such wheels satellites 17 can also be provided with a double toothing of different primitive diameters coming to mesh, respectively, on the fixed toothed crown 20 and on the ring gear 22 associated with the winding shaft 3.
- the tree 14 pulley 9 directly attacks the satellite wheel (s) 17 through a satellite carrier 16 associated therewith.
- the satellite wheel or wheels 17 mounted in rotation on a planned satellite carrier able to rotate, coaxially, around the shaft 14. This or these satellite wheels 17 come here again mesh simultaneously, on toothed crowns 20, 22 associated, respectively, with the tubular end piece 11 and the winding shaft 3 through the sleeve 13.
- such a reduction mechanism 10 can still borrow other embodiments than those of type with nested planetary gear.
- the satellite wheel (s) 17 come to mesh on a ring gear 22 associated with the winding shaft 3, while if this satellite carrier is mounted in solidarity rotation at the winding shaft 3, this or these satellite wheels 17 cooperate exclusively on a crown tooth 20 associated with the tubular end piece 11.
- this mechanism of reduction 10 does not constitute any congestion additional on either side of the winding shaft 3.
- the implantation according to the invention of this reduction mechanism 10 allows, ultimately, to adjust with greater precision the gear ratio wish. Indeed, it should be noted that if the previously described mechanisms usually lead to a relatively large reduction ratio, this can be adjusted, to obtain a lower ratio of in the order of 2 to 3, by implantation, in the thickness of the pulley 9 of a mechanism 25 (illustrated schematically in Figure 2) defined capable of amplifying the movement exerted by the user on this pulley 9.
- a mechanism 25 illustrated schematically in Figure 2
- such mechanism 25 can again be defined by a solar 26 mounted fixedly on the shaft 14 and coming to mesh on one or several satellite wheels 27 engaged with a ring gear 28 defined by said pulley 9.
