Abstract
Zwischen einer feststehenden Kontakttulpe (1) und einer Gleittulpe (4) erstreckt sich ein Lichtbogenraum (5), der in der Einschaltstellung von einem beweglichen Schaltstift (3) eingenommen wird, welcher sowohl einen von der Gleittulpe (4) umgebenen Auspuff (9) als auch eine von der Kontakttulpe (1) umgebene Blasöffnung (7), welche den Lichtbogenraum (5) mit einem Druckraum (6) verbindet, ausfüllt. Der Lichtbogenraum (5) ist von einem ringförmigen, gegen denselben offenen Heizvolumen (13) umgeben. Im Druckraum (6) ist eine Ladung (10) von Explosivstoff angeordnet, die nach Zündung binnen ca. 10 - 30 ms grösstenteils zu Löschgas, vorzugsweise überwiegend Stickstoff umgesetzt wird, wobei der Gasdruck den Schaltstift (3) gegen die Ausschaltstellung bewegt. Nach Freiwerden der Blasöffnung (7) und des Auspuffs (9) wird der zwischen Schaltstift (3) und Kontakttulpe (1) gezogene Lichtbogen beblasen, was vom durch den Lichtbogen mitbewirkten Druckaufbau im Heizvolumen (13) unterstützt wird. Der Druckraum mit der Ladung kann den Lichtbogenraum auch ringförmig umgeben. Auch in diesem Fall ist eine Unterstützung der Ausschaltbewegung durch den Explosionsdruck z. B. über Kolben möglich. An arc space (5) extends between a fixed contact tulip (1) and a sliding tulip (4), which in the switched-on position is occupied by a movable switching pin (3), which is both an exhaust pipe (9) surrounded by the sliding tulip (4) also fills a blowing opening (7) surrounded by the contact tulip (1), which connects the arc chamber (5) to a pressure chamber (6). The arc chamber (5) is surrounded by an annular heating volume (13) which is open to the same. A charge (10) of explosive is arranged in the pressure chamber (6) and, after ignition, is largely converted into extinguishing gas, preferably predominantly nitrogen, within approx. 10 - 30 ms, the gas pressure moving the switching pin (3) against the switch-off position. After the blow opening (7) and the exhaust (9) are cleared, the arc drawn between the switching pin (3) and the contact tulip (1) is blown, which is supported by the pressure build-up in the heating volume (13) which is contributed by the arc. The pressure chamber with the charge can also surround the arc chamber in a ring. In this case too, a support for the switch-off movement is caused by the explosion pressure. B. possible via pistons.
