Abstract

Die erfindungsgemäße Einrichtung zur Fahrzeugerfassung und -zählung weist mehrere Sensoren (A1, A2 bzw. B1, B2) auf, die oberhalb der nebeneinander liegenden Fahrbahnen (A, B) in Fahrbahnrichtung mit Abstand hintereinander angeordnet sind. Den Sensoren (A1, A2 bzw. B1, B2) jeder Fahrbahn (A, B) ist jeweils eine Auswerteeinheit (AE, BE) zugeordnet, die die Sensorsignale (SA1, SA2 oder SB1, SB2) empfängt. Zur zuverlässigen Fahrzeugzählung findet zwischen den Auswerteeinheiten (AE, BE) ein Austausch virtueller Sensorsignale (SA1', SA2' bzw. SB1', SB2') statt.
