Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Scheinwerfer für Kraftfahrzeuge mit einem durch ein Gehäuse und einer das Gehäuse abdeckenden Lichtscheibe gebildeten Innenraum, in dem mindestens eine Lichtquelle angeordnet ist, mit mindestens einem den Innenraum mit der Umgebung des Scheinwerfers verbindenden randseitig des Gehäuses angeordneten Belüftungskanal, der eine zu dem Innenraum zugekehrte innere Belüftungsöffnung und eine zu der Umgebung zugekehrte äußere Belüftungsöffnung aufweist, wobei der Belüftungskanal (13, 36) randseitig an der Lichtscheibe (3) oder an dem Gehäuse (2) angeformt ist und sich im wesentlichen senkrecht zu einer Lichtaustrittsfläche (18) der Lichtscheibe (3) in einer Aufnahme (22) erstreckt, wobei zumindest ein Bereich der Außenwandung des Belüftungskanals (13, 36) stoffschlüssig mit einem korrespondierenden Randlappen (9) des Gehäuses (2) oder der Lichtscheibe (3) verbunden ist.
