Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a connector for a shielded Cable whose shield braid over at least the circumference ring provided with conductive material with a shielding part of a housing provided with plug connections is that picks up the wire ends and contacts the Manufactures plug connections.
Such a connector is known from DE 8718095 U1, where you put the braid of the cable backwards by about 180 ° folded over a ring and then with contact tabs of shielding plates together with the help of a squeeze ring. The wires of the cable are connected in a known manner Contacts connected, and the shielding sheets are up to preferred to the contacts. The connection of a shielded Cable still requires a relative one in this way great effort, especially because of the necessary contacting with the shield plates over a squeeze ring.
The present invention has for its object a To design connectors of the type mentioned that easier contacting with the shield braid of the cable is possible.
To solve this problem, the connector provided that the ring is a slotted Clamping ring is resilient against one of its contours adapted contact surface of the shielding part and against a recess of a housing part is pressed. Through this Designing is the contacting of the shielding braid with the shielding sheets in a simple way by assembling achieved a two-part housing with which the elastic clamping ring the necessary contact to the shielding plates manufactures. The separate pressing one Squeeze ring becomes superfluous. Contacting the Shielding braid of the cable takes place simultaneously with the Assemble the case.
In a development of the invention, the wires of the cable in Guides of a wire carrier made of insulating material be added, separated from the housing or movable this is arranged, with each of the guides for the Veins leading openings are provided in the wire carrier and Contacting tips protruding transversely to the direction of insertion in the housing are present when inserting the wire carrier contact the wires through the openings in the housing and with plug contacts in the housing's open chambers get in touch. With this configuration, the Veins in a relatively simple manner in the initially still loose wire carrier are inserted, which then in the housing is inserted.
In a further development of the invention, the shielding part can be in the area of plug-in lugs outwardly resilient tongues for contacting have a socket, and the entire connector housing can from a protective cap made of non-conductive material be surrounded in which shield plates can be inserted.

The connector shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 for the connection
a flexible
The
Schutzkappe 7. The new connector therefore consists of the
The
gezogen. Der federnde Schnapphaken 7a liegt dabei an der
Unterseite des Gehäuses, wo eine entsprechende Aussparung 15
vorgesehen ist.The single wires of the wire pairs are then in the slots
