Eine Feinstahl- oder Drahtstraße mit einer mehrgerüstigen Vorstraße, einer mehrgerüstigen Zwischenstraße und einem aus 6 oder 8 oder 10 Walzgerüsten mit jeweils einem gemeinsamen Antrieb ausgerüsteten Fertigblock (7) ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zumindest die letzten beiden Gerüste (23, 24) des Fertigblocks (7) mit je einem individuellen Antriebsaggregat (9, 10) ausgestattet sind, und dass die Antriebswellen (13, 13') der entkoppelbaren letzten beiden Walzgerüste (23, 24) die Hauptantriebswellen (27, 28) der gekoppelten Gerüste (22) schneiden.
