Definitions
- Padlock lockable swivel lever actuation for locking control cabinet doors or the like Padlock lockable swivel lever actuation for locking control cabinet doors or the like.
- EP 0261 267 B1 discloses a rod lock for sheet metal cabinet doors that works with a pivot lever actuation that can be secured in the pivoted-in state by a cylinder lock. A backup by a Padlock is not provided.
- a lockable swivel lever lock which, similar to the already mentioned lock according to EP 0261 267 B1, can be mounted in a thin wall, such as a metal cabinet door, and consists of a base plate that penetrates two through the door leaf Approaches.
- One approach is used to connect a rod drive or the like. Or for mounting a drive shaft or the articulation shaft for the pivot lever, but at the same time also for fastening one end of the base plate, while the other approach is a depression for receiving the pivot lever in its pivoted Holds position locking cylinder lock device and at the same time serves to attach the other end of the base plate.
- facilities are missing to additionally secure the lock with a padlock.
- the known arrangement has the further disadvantage that when the padlock is not hooked in, the pivoting lever is only secured against pivoting out if a cylinder lock or socket-operated lock is additionally provided, which is not desired in some cases. If the profile cylinder does not exist, there is the risk in the known arrangement that, by shaking to which the swivel lever lock may be exposed, for example in the event of an earthquake, or during operation, or during transport, the swivel lever swings out so far that the projection provided by the padlock comes from the Area of the lever and gives the swivel lever the opportunity to rotate with the locking shaft. Because of this twisting, there is a risk of the cabinet door opening unintentionally.
- Another object is therefore to enable a design in which the actuating lever is secured in its pivoted-in position against being swung out unintentionally even if a cylinder lock or the like is not provided and a padlock is not hooked in either.
- the attachment on the actuating lever is mounted displaceably and / or rotatably and / or pivotably, that the actuating lever carries a second attachment with an eyelet, and that in the locking position of the actuating lever the eyelet of the first attachment is close and in alignment with the Eyelet of the second approach lies.

- 27 shows an illustration from behind of the associated trough;
- FIG. 28 is an enlarged view of the area highlighted in FIG. 25;
- FIG. 29 shows a variant of the embodiment according to FIG. 28.
- FIG. 1 is a side view of a pivot lever 10 for the lock 12 of a cabinet door 14, housing wall, sheet metal box cover or the like can be seen.
- a locking shaft 20 is arranged which, for example, drives a sash 22, or, alternatively or additionally, flat strip rods 24 (FIG. 1) running along the door leaf or, in yet another application, round rods 26 (FIG. 6).
- FIG. 1 European patent 0 054 225 as an example of use.
- an actuating lever 28 is pivoted out of the trough 18 about an axis 30 running transversely to the axis of the shaft 20.
- the shaft 20 can be rotated about its axis 32 with the actuating lever 28.
- the existing cam 22 is pivoted out of the door frame of a control cabinet and the door is thereby opened (FIG. 3).
- the ribbon bar 24 is moved upward from its illustrated closed position, as a result of which the idler wheel 36 is released from the edge of a control cabinet housing 34 shown and enables the door leaf 14 to move away from the housing 36 and thereby the door 14 to open.
- the hand lever is directed vertically downwards in this position, its own gravity or friction can be sufficient to hold it in this position.
- shaking movements such as can occur, for example, in crane systems
- a further rotation about the axis 32 can then be carried out by further shaking movement, whereby u. U.
- the shutter 12 opens and thus the inside of a cabinet is exposed in an undesirable manner. It is also possible that an unauthorized person swings out the hand lever 28 and brings the lock from its closed position into an open position by rotation about the axis 32 and thereby has the possibility of opening the door 14 of a control cabinet 36.
- the hand lever 28 can be provided with a projection 38 at its free end, into which a cylinder lock 40 can be received.
- the thumb of the corresponding cylinder can be mounted in such a way that it lies in the closed state with the hand lever 28 swung in against the rear surface 42 of the door leaf 14 and thereby prevents the hand lever 28 from swiveling out of its swung-in position.
- a thumb can also lie behind a contact surface formed by a screwed-on box 44.
- the disadvantage here is that it is not necessarily visible whether the cylinder 40 is excluded or not, i. that is, it is difficult to control the state of the shutter.
- cylinder locks have certain disadvantageous properties, such as sensitivity to dust, cumbersome installation, high costs and the like.
- the displaceable extension 46 can be displaced from its offset position shown in FIGS. 1 or 9 or 11 towards the extension 52 against the force of a spring 54 until the two opening openings 48, 50 are aligned with one another, see FIG 8 and 12.
- lateral projections 56 which are formed by the inner end of the sliding projection 46, lie behind projections 58, which are formed by the trough 18.
- a shackle of a padlock 60 inserted through the eyelets 48, 50, see for example FIG. 21, holds the shoulder 46 in the position shown in FIG. 8. So that the hand lever 28 is locked in its pivoted position.
- the pivoted-in position which is retained by the lugs 62, 64, is not a securely locking position, since any unauthorized person can remove the hand lever from this pivoted-in position.
- the attachment 46 can be brought into the position already described, in which the two opening openings 41, 50 are aligned with one another and allow a shackle of a padlock to be inserted. In this position with a padlock attached, the hand lever is locked securely and securely and this locked state is also clearly visible.
- a cylinder lock can also be provided, which also enables locking.
- This additional locking mechanism can be operated by a socket wrench, with a triangle, square or slot for screwdrivers, or have other shapes. Two different keys would then be required for unlocking, which is advantageous in certain applications.
- the illustrated embodiments are particularly well suited to be installed in two rectangular opening openings of the same size aligned with the center of the door, as shown in FIG. 4.
- the trough 18 is directed towards the door leaf 14 and extends through it Protrusions 68, 70, see FIGS. 11 and 13, on which, for example according to FIG. 1, a suitably designed lock case 12 or a case 44 can be placed and screwed on with fastening screws 72, 74, the door leaf then being between the trough 18 and this box 12, 44 is clamped, as shown in FIG. 1.
- the screws 72, 74 extend into corresponding bores 76, 78, which are formed by the trough 18, which may be made of plastic, see, for. B. Fig. 11.
- the two lugs 146, 152 arranged on the hand lever 128 are arranged with their eyelets 148, 150 in an aligned position so that the shackle of a padlock is inserted in the direction of the hand lever axis.
- the extension 146 can now be rotated about an axis 74 by 90 ° into the position shown in FIG. 16.
- Component 152 may be cast in one piece with the hand lever 128.
- the component 146 consists of four sections, namely a section which contains the bore 148, see also the top view according to FIG. 14, a disk-shaped section which is supported on the surface of the hand lever 128, reference number 176, a bearing component 178 with a round outer circumference , which is rotatably mounted in a corresponding bore of the hand lever 128, and a square projection 180, on which a further component 182 is placed and fastened by means of a countersunk screw 184, namely in a rotationally rigid manner.
- the component 182 forms the projection 156, which is supported on the projection 158 and fixes the hand lever 128 in the pivoted-in position.
- the design can be such that the rotary movement takes place against spring force, so that here too, similar to that described in FIGS. 1 to 11, both the position according to FIG. 16 enables the hand lever to be locked and the end position according to FIG 17, while the hand lever 128 can be swung out in between. 18 shows this state of affairs, where the corner 164 realizes this automatic locking which results when it is inserted.
- the annular space 175 shown in FIG. 15 could accommodate a corresponding spiral spring.
- FIGS. 10 to 24 show a further design option.
- a pivotable attachment 246 is provided here, which is attached to the hand lever 128.
- the extension 246 is fastened to the hand lever 228 so as to be pivotable about an axis 277 against the force of a spring 254.
- the extension 246 has two locking positions, a regular locking position, in which the eyelet 248 of the extension 246 is aligned with the eyelet 250 of the extension 252, and in which a padlock can be inserted through these two eyelets, see FIG 21, and a second position, which is shown in FIG.
- a projection 256 formed by the projection 246 lies behind one of the trough 218 formed projection 258, so that here, too, the hand lever 228 can no longer be folded out of the recess 218 in this position, even if a padlock is not hooked in.
- 25 to 29 show a slightly different swivel arrangement. It differs from that according to FIGS. 19 to 24 in that the pivot axis point with the associated spring 377 is somewhat closer to the surface of the hand lever 318 and the pivotable extension 346 thereby receives slightly different starting points for the locking. 28 and 29 differ only minimally with regard to the approach for locking when pivoting in without using a padlock.
- the embodiment according to FIGS. 19 to 24 has proven to be the cheapest, it is cheaper compared to the embodiment according to FIGS. 25 to 29 because the lugs 246, 252 protrude less far than in the embodiment with the lugs 346, 352 is the case. Compared to the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 11, it is cheaper because a displacement is more complicated to implement than a pivoting.
- the eyelet that is firmly attached to the lever for locking the lever does not necessarily have to conform to the contour of the movable eyelet that creates a grip.
- an overlap between the two eyes of the eyelets is sufficient to ensure that the lever is securely held in its recess.
- the swivel lever lock according to the invention can also be used for closures which are already actuated when the actuating lever is swiveled out of the trough, that is to say do not require subsequent rotation of the swivel lever.
- the invention can be evaluated commercially in control cabinet construction.
