Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a fragmentation warhead according to the preamble of Claim 1.
A similar warhead is known from DE 35 10 431 C2. Its cylindrical The insert between the warhead shell and the explosive charge is made in one piece. over the circumference of the insert is evenly distributed in elongated holes. The latter form a part of this lattice pattern. The fields delimited by the elongated holes determine the Sliver size. Said fields are between the adjacent elongated holes but connected with each other without exception. However, there is no indication how such a deposit can be realized in a particularly advantageous manner.
The fields with the same purpose are related to each other Splinter warhead according to DE 39 40 462 A1. As consistently solid components they are the same cylindrical insert between the warhead shell and the explosive charge this time delimited by structural zones in the form of grooves, which are defined by the outer jacket of the insert extend radially inwards into the jacket material. The radial Extension dimension is about half the wall thickness between the inner jacket and Outer jacket of the insert.
The object of the present invention is to provide a fragmentation warhead To develop genus that of the aforementioned generic genus Warhead designs are superior when it comes to a solid splinter shell Reproducible at any time and in use in particularly effective To dismantle fragments of always defined shape and mass.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the in the characterizing part of Main specified features. Further advantageous configurations can be found in the subclaims.
The measures taken according to the invention can be made without any noteworthy Realize effort. As a result, they have a versatile use Warhead of excellent splinter effectiveness. Its outer shell namely, whoever they are for punching through obstacles such as earth fillings and concrete parts of aircraft shelters accordingly is solid, always flawless in charge detonation and reproducible as desired into highly effective fragments. On form, mass and kinetic energy of the latter can easily influence here be taken, namely on the geometry and choice of materials for example by gluing to the inner shell of the warhead shell applied, separate insert elements and on the type of continuous space structure between them. Special meaning then comes the waiver of a charge detonation with disassembled, structured insert one-piece training between Outer shell and explosive charge of the warhead.
As a separate insert elements used instead, u. a. those in plate form made of silicone or the like plastic. Becomes more special It is important to an increased number of different fragments, it is expedient to use such plates as separate insert elements, which in turn consist of a large number of preformed splinters, for example in shape small cube, are composed. Remains on a very simple one Reference possibility of mounting the separate insert elements. This addresses sticking the same to the inner surface the warhead shell while leaving the continuous, structure-forming Free space.

Figur 2 wiedergegebenen Folie 5 abgedeckt.
Figure 1 shows a massive outer shell 1 of a warhead, the addition

In the warhead design according to Figures 3 and 4 are
