Description
The invention relates to a connecting element for a coaxial high-frequency cable, the one inner conductor, a dielectric surrounding it and one concentric to the Inner conductor arranged, tubular outer conductor, the end of which to create a circumferential contact surface is expanded conically, consisting of a Contact socket with one for contacting the inner surface of the contact surface of the outer conductor certain, circumferential projection with a conical outer surface and a the outer conductor in Pipe section surrounding use position and from an axially displaceable contact sleeve, which at one end is a circumferential, conically widening and to be attached to the Has outer surface of the contact surface of the outer conductor certain inner surface, the Contact sleeve by rotating the contact socket against the contact surface of the Outer conductor can be pressed.
Such a connecting element is for example from FR-A 2 682 816 or DE 27 24 862 C2 known.
Such a connecting element is used, for example, to connect a coaxial High-frequency cable - hereinafter referred to as "HF cable" - to a further one Plug connection, to an HF device or to connect with another HF cable. The inner conductor of the RF cable is usually with a pin and one corresponding socket connected. Problems often arise with the connection the outer conductor of the HF cable, because if the contact is not good enough Intermodulation symptoms are coming. This can lead to the excitation of new frequencies that interfere with the actual groove signal.
In the known connecting element according to DE 27 24 862 C2 mentioned at the beginning the contacting of the outer conductor through the interaction of the conical projection Contact socket and conical contact sleeve despite simple construction compared to others Constructions improved. Nevertheless, disturbing intermodulation phenomena occur.
The invention is based, so the connection element described above the task to design that intermodulation when contacting the outer conductor as far as possible can be suppressed.
- that the outer surface of the contact sleeve is also conical at one end of the contact sleeve and
- that an axially displaceable pressure sleeve is attached above the contact sleeve with a conically widening inner surface which serves to bear against the outer surface of the contact sleeve and which can be pressed against the contact surface of the outer conductor by the rotary movement of the contact sleeve.
With this connecting element, it was possible in a very simple manner To increase the contact pressure on the outer conductor so that none through this contact point Intermodulations are caused more. When tightening the contact socket their conical projection on the one hand and the Contact sleeve pressed very firmly against the conical contact surface of the outer conductor. This is thereby particularly firmly and not limited by a stop that the axially movable Pressure bushing is also conical at its end. So it transmits the axially Direction force acting on them completely on the contact surface of the outer conductor. This This means that the conical contact surface is firmly clamped on both sides. You will be with accordingly high pressure pressed against the projection of the contact socket. The contact resistance between the two parts is therefore extremely low.
An embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown in the drawings.
