- Sandwich-like cardboard laminates are identical in construction to their relatives of the high-tech sandwich panels of lightweight construction. They consist of two plane-parallel cover layers and an extremely light, spacing intermediate layer structured from coincident cells, which are glued to the cover layers on both sides. According to the terminology of lightweight construction, the top layers are called tension or compression belts because when the sandwich is bent, tension or compression stresses are generated in them and thus resist deformation.
- the intermediate layer in sandwich-like cardboard laminates are the corrugated sheets familiar from corrugated cardboard, which are laminated crosswise, double or in three layers, or honeycomb structures with square or hexagonal cells covered and glued with the cover layers.
- Sandwich-like cardboard laminates partially absorb and dampen the mechanical energy of shocks by locally absorbing the loads thanks to the cell structure of the intermediate layer. In extreme cases, the cardboard laminate can fail in places. Thanks to the fact that the sandwich-like cardboard laminate is only destroyed at the point of overload, the general cargo remains protected even after this event. After the piece goods have arrived at their destination, the packaging is disposed of or reprocessed, where it is crushed into pulp and thus into the basic material of cardboard.

- the wine bottle itself appears in the selected example as a uniform piece goods, although it itself is also a recyclable packaging and, because it is made of glass, it is fragile, which carries the protected goods, the wine, when closed.
- the flaps 1 I - 1 V consist of the sandwich-like cardboard laminate 2, which, in addition to the outer cover layers 2 I , 2 II, function as inner and outer sandwich belts of FIG.
- hexagonal honeycomb honeycombs 2a and, as an alternative, square cells 2b in FIG. 1 exhibit.
- the X-PLY® product does not show the crossed wave paths as a sandwich-like cardboard laminate.
- the inner sandwich belt 2 II must be severed, because only when the inner sandwich belt 2 II is interrupted is the formation of the angle 12 of the corner joint along the bending edges 3 I - 3 II (3 1 - 3 8 ) 5 and thus the formation of the corner joint 5 possible.
- the structure of the hexagonal honeycomb honeycombs 2a is crushed in the region of the fold line 4 and the bending edges 3 I - 3 II , as indicated in the plan of FIG.
- FIG. 3 the folding box 1 is closed around the bottle 10 and the flaps 1 I - 1 IV folded.
- Bottle 10 is lowered into flap 1 IV and flap 1 II of folding box 1 into recess 6 I.
- the flap 1 II is partially broken open so that the recess 6 I and its embossing with compression of the structure of the square cells 2b is visible.
- the window 7 and below the label 10 I on the bottle 10 are indicated, which is visible from the outside through the opening of the window 7.
- the flap 1 I covers the end face of the flap 1 VI , the folded folding box 1.
- FIG. 3 shows that this edge of the folding box is covered with an adhesive tape strip 8 and the folding box 1 is thus closed.
- the thickness of the sandwich-like cardboard laminate must be taken into account. This is particularly true when determining the length of the tab to which the tab serving as the lid is to be connected. It can be seen on the background part of FIG. 1 that the flap 1 III is longer than the flap 1 IV . This difference in length corresponds to the thickness of the sandwich-like cardboard laminate and is thus half the width of the corner joint 5.
Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Faltschachtel nach dem
Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1.The invention relates to a folding box according to the
Preamble of
The packaging industry has always tried to meet the needs of their customers with regard to the end consumer comply with the requirements and guidelines of Insurances and the authorities must be duly observed. This striving is under pressure from the competition. Nevertheless there is no uncompromising and therefore really optimal packaging for the bulk of stucco goods same dimensions.
The present invention wants the modern principle of lasting nature effect "(sustainability = taking into account the long-term effect) when solving this task and thus offering holistic optimization of the formal design, choice of materials, technology, application and recycling for the packaging of piece goods, which are suitable for both manual and mechanical handling.
This means for the forwarding of general cargo Intend to create a packaging that without Compromises on the security requirements and thus the Transport quality of the packaging, through appropriate Materials, simple assembly, little effort the logistics are marked for storage, and with only a few manual or machine operations Use can be provided and filled and easy to handle during transport and after reaching it the destination is simply recyclable or can be disposed of without problems.
The desired packaging for piece goods corresponds to that Principle of sustainability if you, while protecting the Resources, all functional advantages, like a maximum the protection of the goods during transport and storage, light weight, cheap manufacture, smallest Space requirements for the blanks, fastest provision through simple folding, simple few movements Introducing, positioning and fixing the piece goods in the packaging, and easy to close, and when the closure is opened until it is forced open Completeness of the packaging and the integrity of the Makes piece goods visible and if the packaging is so is designed so that no printing to identify the Content is necessary.
Die Lösung dieser erfindungsgemässen Aufgabe erfolgt mit den Merkmalen der Patentansprüche 1 - 10.This object of the invention is achieved with the features of claims 1-10.
identisch. Sie bestehen aus zwei planparallelen
Deckschichten und einer extrem leichten, aus
koinzidenten Zellen strukturierten, distanzhaltenden
Zwischenschicht dienen in sandwichartigen
Kartonlaminaten, die vom Wellkarton her vertrauten
In
extremen Fällen kann dabei das Kartonlaminat
stellenweise versagen.
Biegesteife
sandwichartige Kartonlaminate sind wegen ihrer
Formhaltigkeit für schachtelartige Verpackungen ideal,
nicht zuletzt wegen der problemlosen Stapelbarkeit und
der vorzüglichen Handhabung ihrer prismatischen Gestalt. Rigid, sandwich-like cardboard laminates are proposed for solving this task because the material of this packaging optimally fulfills the mechanical requirements during the period of use and can subsequently be recirculated as often as desired or else biodegradable by rotting. Sandwich-like cardboard laminates are identical in construction to their relatives of the high-tech sandwich panels of lightweight construction.
The intermediate layer in sandwich-like cardboard laminates are the corrugated sheets familiar from corrugated cardboard, which are laminated crosswise, double or in three layers, or honeycomb structures with square or hexagonal cells covered and glued with the cover layers. Sandwich-like cardboard laminates partially absorb and dampen the mechanical energy of shocks by locally absorbing the loads thanks to the cell structure of the intermediate layer. Rigid sandwich-like cardboard laminates are ideal for box-like packaging because of their shape retention, not least because of the easy stackability and the excellent handling of their prismatic shape.
These are the advantages of sandwich-like cardboard laminates for folding boxes but only realizable when the Shape retention removed along a fold line, or is so limited that from the outer cover layer a hinge or a hinge-like Connection arises that the corresponding movement and thus allows uniaxial bending of the cover layer, and from the intermediate layer and from the inner cover layer the immediate vicinity of the fold line one Corner joint can be formed. The present invention shows this construction and enriches the production with another quality so that the general cargo through suitable recesses in the box wall easiest way can be positioned and fixed. The Using this option allows the design of the Folding box from a single rectangular cutout for many piece goods, in the simplest way so that the Cutout is divided into strips into strips, and the piece goods in at least one recess Lappens inserted for positioning and fixation being, on a box lid and box bottom can be dispensed with. Depending on needs and equipment of the general cargo can be used to identify it Window cut into the box wall so that the significant characteristics and / or designations of the General cargo in the packaging is visible from the outside are. It is easy to see that with rectangular Cut the assembly practically without waste is possible and thus the exploitation of the Cutting material culminates with the rectangular shape.
folgt gezeigt:
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- Fig.3
The ends of the packaging projecting beyond the piece goods adequately protect the piece goods against destruction by falling. If, for aesthetic reasons, the open ends of the folding box are to be closed for luxury goods, this wish can be met with stopper-like lids made of recyclable plastic.
The invention is shown below with the aid of a few embodiment variants with drawings, for example as follows:
- Fig. 1
- shows the isometric representation of a bottle in the packaging as a uniform piece goods, the cut in the foreground consists of four elongated tabs and is rectangular, in contrast to the rear part, which shows the combination with an additional bottom tab. In addition, the representation of a stopper-like cover refers to the alternative of the packaging closed on all sides with a rectangular cut and thus without a base flap.
- Fig. 2
- shows the corner joint in the basic and elevation in the cut of a sandwich-like cardboard laminate with the honeycomb core structure.
- Fig. 3
- shows the view of a packaged bottle according to Figure 1, with breakouts of the sandwich flaps in the region of the recess and the window.
Vertiefung 6II (vgl. Fig. 1 und Fig. 3) in der halb
offenen Faltschachtel 1 positioniert ist und auf dem
Lappen 1III aufliegt.
Alternative in Figur 1 quadratische Zellen 2b aufweisen.
Auf die Darstellung der gekreuzten Wellenbahnen als
sandwichartigem Kartonlaminat wird mit Hinweis auf das
Produkt X-PLY® verzichtet.
When designing the blank, in particular the length of the flaps, the thickness of the sandwich-like cardboard laminate must be taken into account. This is particularly true when determining the length of the tab to which the tab serving as the lid is to be connected.
It can be seen on the background part of FIG. 1 that the
