Le brevet US 2988 251 concerne un dispositif de pliage de chemises constitué de deux plaques articulées ensemble, dont l'une présente une cavité et une rainure ayant pour objet d'éviter l'écrasement du col et l'alignement des boutons avec le col de la chemise lors du pliage. Le brevet EP 46 2074 concerne un dispositif pour le pliage de chemises, permettant de les transporter sans endommagement dans les valises, se composant d'une plaque et d'un cadre articulé sur celle-ci, muni de petits crans, empêchant de déplacement de la chemise, la fermeture du cadre articulé sur la plaque enserrant ainsi le vêtement préalablement posé sur celle-ci, peut par un effet de cisaillement, abîmer les chemises en les coupant. L'invention a pour objet un dispositif pour plier les chemises et les tee-shirts lors des repassages domestiques. L'invention selon la revendication 1 consiste en une partie principale, de type gabarit plein, de forme quasi rectangulaire, d'une épaisseur de quelques millimètres, permettant de plier une chemise en superposant le gabarit sur le vêtement repassé, posé à plat par exemple sur une table de repassage, les pans étant rabattus un à un sur le dispositif, le dispositif est ensuite retiré en le faisant coulisser par la partie supérieure du vêtement plié. Le dispositif est pourvu d'un état de surface ou pourvu en surface d'un revêtement de faible friction, par exemple à base de silicone tel qu'il n'adhère pas aux matières textiles, et pourvu sur son petit côté supérieur d'une saillie fixe 2 inclinée formant une poignée. Les revendications dépendentes concernent des caractéristiques additionelles du dispositif selon la revendication 1. - les pans sont rabattus un à un sur le dispositif, seule la saillie et la partie supérieure du gabarit restant visible comme le montre la figure 3b.
- le dispositif est retiré en le saisissant par la saillie 2 et en le faisant coulisser par la partie supérieure du vêtement ainsi plié.

Claims (10)
- A device for folding shirts and tee-shirts when ironed domestically having a thin quasi-rectangular main part (1) of the solid template type enabling a shirt to be folded by placing the template (1) on the ironed garment, when laid flat on an ironing board, for example, the sides and bottom of the garment being folded one by one over the device, and the device then being removed by sliding it out through the upper part of the folded garment, characterised in that it has a surface state or a surface coating such that it does not adhere to textile materials and has on its upper shorter side a fixed projection (2) forming an inclined handle to facilitate holding it and to provide a free space behind the neck of the shirt.
- A device according to claim 1 characterised in that it is a few millimetres thick.
- A device according to claim 1 characterised in that, to facilitate holding it, the projection (2) is at an angle α in the range from 5° to 60° to the plane axis of the template (1).
- A device according to claim 1 characterised in that the upper part of the template (1) has a slightly triangular shape matching the slope of the shoulders of a shirt, first and second sides being slightly inclined to the horizontal in opposite directions.
- A device according to claim 1 characterised in that the main part (1) is very slightly conical, its lower part being a few millimetres narrower than its upper part to facilitate removing the template (1) when the garment has been folded.
- A device according to claim 1 characterised in that all the edges are rounded.
- A device according to claim 1 characterised in that it has a low-friction coating, which is a silicone-based coating.
- A device according to claim 1 characterised in that it is made of a dense material selected from materials such as wood, particle board, metal, dense plastics material, glass or transparent plastics material.
- A device according to claim 1 characterised in that the handle has a step extending substantially horizontally.
- An application of the device according to claim 1 characterised in that the solid part of the template (1) can be used to carry advertising.
