    Claims (14)

    1. A roller skate, in particular an in-line skate, comprising
      a plurality of wheels (6, 7, 8, 9) arranged behind each other, and brake means (10) operable from the shoe and including a first lever (20) hinged on a first swivelling axis (22) and comprising a force arm (20a) and a load arm (20b), and brake activation means (16) acting on said force arm (20a) of said first lever (20), wherein said brake activation means (16) is a pedal (16) in the shoe cavity operable by at least one toe, and wherein said load arm (20b) of said first lever (20) operates actuating means (24) acting on a brake member (26) which is movable in a direction towards at least one rear wheel (6, 7) so as to take said brake member into operative connection with said at least one rear wheel (6, 7), characterized in that
      said actuating means (24) is a second lever (24) adapted to pivot about a second swivelling axis (28) and comprising a force arm (24a) and a load arm (24b), the force arm (24a) of may which be engaged by said load arm (20b) of said first lever (20) so as to pivot said load arm (24b) of said second lever (24) about said second rotation axis (28) in a direction towards said brake member (26).
    2. The roller skate in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that said second rotation axis (28) is located above said brake member (26).
    3. The roller skate in accordance with claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said load arm (24b) of said second lever (24) is linked underneath respectively at said brake member (26).
    4. The roller skate in accordance with claim 3, characterized in that said load arm (24b) is connected to said brake member (26) via a rotation axis (34).
