Abstract

Gerät mit einem Plasmaerzeuger mit einer mit einem Gasanschluß verbundenen Kammer (27, 27'), die von einer Kathode (19, 19') durchsetzt ist und einer die Kathode (19, 19') mit einem Ringspalt umgebenden Anode (15, 15'), wobei der Ringspalt mit der Kammer (27, 27') in Verbindung steht und die Anode (15, 15') und die Kathode (19, 19') mit elektrischen Anschlußleitungen (6) in Verbindung stehen. Um einen einfachen Austausch des Plasmaerzeugers zu ermöglichen, ist vorgesehen, daß die Kathode (19, 19') in einem aus einem elektrisch gut leitenden Material hergestellten Halteteil (18, 18') gehalten ist und dieser Halteteil (18, 18') und die Anode (15, 15'), sowie ein zwischen dem Halteteil (18, 18') der Kathode (19, 19') und der Anode (15, 15') angeordneter, die Kammer (27, 27') begrenzender Zwischenteil (17, 55) gemeinsam mit zumindest einem Verbindungsteil (13, 87) zu einem als Einheit handhabbaren Modul (11, 11') verbunden sind, wobei der Halteteil (18, 18') und die Anode (15, 15') mit Kontaktflächen in elektrisch leitender Verbindung stehen, die mit Kontaktstiften (9, 9') zusammenwirken, die mit elektrischen Anschlußleitungen (6) verbunden und in einem Halter (1, 1') axial federnd verschiebbar gehalten sind.
