Description

Objet de l'invention
La présente invention concerne un appareil d'épilation comportant une gaine chauffante électrique, permettant de chauffer et de maintenir à l'état liquide une cire destinée à l'épilation et qui est pourvue d'un applicateur de cire fondue.
On doit entendre par gaine chauffante, un réservoir dans lequel on introduit une masse (généralement un bâton) de cire épilatoire à l'état solide qui est muni de moyens électriques de chauffage qui permettent de rendre cette cire liquide. Ce dispositif peut être muni d'un applicateur de cire, d'un capot et de divers équipements facilitant son utilisation.
L'applicateur de cire le plus habituel est constitué par une roulette qui prélève la cire à l'état liquide et l'applique sur la peau par roulement.
Un applicateur de ce type est décrit dans les documents US 4,773,784 et US 4,958,951.
La difficulté, et le problème à la base de l'invention, résulte de la nécessité d'éviter de déposer la gaine à plat, ce qui provoquerait l'écoulement de la cire.
On peut bien entendu envisager, comme dans les documents cités, un socle dans lequel on glisse la gaine et qui la maintient redressée.
Cependant, lorsqu'on utilise la gaine par exemple dans une salle de bain, le socle ne se trouve pas toujours à l'endroit où l'on souhaite déposer la gaine. De plus, en voyage par exemple, ce socle est encombrant.
L'invention vise donc à faciliter l'utilisation de la gaine.
Eléments caractéristiques de l'invention
La gaine de l'invention est caractérisée par le fait qu'elle est pourvue d'un pied rétractable muni d'un ressort maintenant le pied en position déployée et d'un moyen de verrouillage du pied en position rétractée contre l'effort du ressort, commandé par une gâchette disposée à la base de la gaine qui libère le moyen de verrouillage lorsqu'on dépose la gaine sur une surface de support, telle qu'une table.
D'autres détails et caractéristiques de l'invention apparaítront à la lecture de la description d'une forme d'exécution préférée de l'invention, au regard des figures annexées.
Brève description des figures
La figure 1 représente une vue en perspective de l'arrière de la gaine selon l'invention avec son capot et contenant un applicateur de cire.
La figure 2 est une perspective de l'avant correspondant à la figure 1.
La figure 3 est une vue correspondant à la vue de la figure 1 mais sans le capot.
La figure 4 représente une vue en coupe de la gaine selon l'invention et de l'épilateur qu'elle contient, le pied étant dans la position rétractée.
La figure 5 représente une coupe d'un détail de la vue de la figure 4, dans laquelle cependant le pied est en position déployée.
Description d'une forme d'exécution préférée de l'invention
La gaine portant le repère 1 constitue un réservoir 2 chauffable par des résistances électriques 3. Un capot 4 recouvre la gaine lorsqu'elle n'est pas utilisée.
Sur la face arrière de la gaine, un pied articulé 5 est disposé. En position écartée, telle que représentée aux figures 1 à 3, ce pied permet de maintenir la gaine 1 redressée, c'est-à-dire sensiblement verticale, lorsqu'on la dépose sur une table par exemple.
A la partie supérieure de la gaine, des moyens d'application de la cire, en l'occurrence une roulette 6, peuvent être prévus.
Un ressort 7 maintient le pied 5 en position déployée.
Le pied 5 est cependant escamotable en se rabattant, contre l'effort du ressort 7, et il vient alors s'appliquer sur la face arrière de la gaine 1, comme représenté à la figure 4.
En s'appliquant sur cette face arrière, un ergot articulé de fixation 8 s'engage dans un évidement 9 prévu dans le pied 5 par encliquetement et permet de maintenir le pied 5 dans sa position repliée.
La gaine 1 comporte une gâchette 11 visible à la base de la gaine qui en s'enfonçant dans le corps de la gaine, lorsqu'on dépose verticalement la gaine sur une surface de support (une table, par exemple) repousse l'ergot 8 contre l'effort d'un ressort 13 hors de sa position d'encliquetement dans l'évidement 9 et provoque alors le déploiement du pied 5.
En tenant la gaine 1 dans la paume de la main, on peut ainsi facilement replier le pied 5 avec les doigts et en déposant la gaine verticalement sur une surface dure, on peut, par la gâchette 11, le déployer.
Avantageusement, l'espace entre d'une part le réservoir 2 avec les résistances 3 et, d'autre part la gaine 1, comporte une matière isolante pour éviter tout risque de brûlure. La cire alimentée dans le réservoir 2 peut être un bâton de cire, mais également des particules que l'on verse dans ce réservoir.
Bien qu'on ait décrit des formes d'exécution préférée de l'invention, il doit être bien entendu que de nombreuses variantes d'exécution sont possibles dans le cadre de l'invention.

Claims (4)

  1. Appareil d'épilation à l'aide de cire chaude comportant une gaine chauffante (1) destinée à une cire d'épilation et un applicateur de cire (6), caractérisé par le fait que ladite gaine (1) est pourvue d'un pied rétractable (5) muni d'un ressort (7) maintenant le pied (5) en position déployée et d'un moyen de verrouillage (8, 9) du pied (5) en position rétractée contre l'effort du ressort (7), commandé par une gâchette (11) disposée à la base de la gaine (1) qui libère le moyen de verrouillage (7, 9) lorsqu'on dépose la gaine (1) sur une surface de support.
  2. Appareil selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le pied (5) est escamotable en se rabattant, contre l'effort des ressorts, en venant se placer sur la face arrière de la gaine (1).
  3. Appareil selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le moyen de verrouillage est constitué par un ergot de fixation (8) qui s'engage dans un évidement (9) dans le pied (5) par encliquetement en maintenant le pied (5) dans son logement.
  4. Appareil selon la revendication 3, caractérisée en ce que la gâchette (11), en s'enfonçant dans le corps de la gaine (1) lorsqu'on dépose verticalement la gaine sur une surface de support, repousse l'ergot (8) contre l'effort d'un second ressort (13) hors de sa position d'encliquetement dans l'évidement (9), et provoque alors le déploiement du pied (5).
