Claims (7)

  1. Device for securing a printing medium from time to time, in particular a paper web (2), between a resilient hose (6) and an opposing clamping device (3) fixed to the frame in a printing machine, characterized in that the hose (6) is arranged such that it can be brought from a state of a collapsed small cross section and a first, low working position (K) into a second or further, higher working position (M; L) by enlarging the cross section of the hose (6) as a result of loading it with a pressure medium.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that a process for securing the paper web (2) is reversible.
  3. Device according to Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that a pressure-medium prestressed intermediate working position (M) located at any desired height can be preset between the first working position (K) and the second working position (L), as a result of pressure-medium loading.
  4. Device according to Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the cross section of the hose (6) in the second working position (L) is a multiple of the cross section of the hose (6) in the first working position (K).
  5. Device according to Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a friction-increasing working surface (14) is formed in the middle of the exposed periphery of the hose (6).
  6. Device according to Claim 5, characterized in that the working surface (14) has a fluted profiled strip (17) which extends in the axial direction of the hose (6) and has a fluted clamping surface (20).
  7. Device according to Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the hose (6) is fixed to a crossmember (4) running between two side frames.
