Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Sprossenkreuzverbinder aus Kunststoff für Isolierverglasungen, durch den zwischen den beiden Glasscheiben der Isolierverglasung angeordnete, einander kreuzende Hohlprofilsprossen, von denen die eine Sprosse durchgehend und die andere zweigeteilt ist, im Kreuzungsbereich miteinander verbindbar sind, bestehend aus einem zweiteiligen Verbindungsstück im Hohlraum der zweiteiligen oder Quersprosse, dessen beide Teile in die Quersprossenteile einsteckbar und mittels eines stiftartigen Befestigungsmittels, das die einteilige, durchgehende oder Längssprosse durchquert, zusammensteckbar sind, wobei die beiden Teile des zweiteiligen Verbindungsstückes einen Längsschlitz aufweisen, in dem das Befestigungsmittel einbringbar ist, und daß die Verbingungsstücke beidseitig des Längsschlitzes Materialentzugshohlräume aufweisen, die zusätzlich zu den konstruktionsbedingten Hohlräumen vorgesehen sind.
Zur Verringerung des Verformungswiderstandes des Verbinders beim Einführen des Befestigungsstiftes wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Materialentzugshohlräume als parallel zum Längsschlitz (4) und im Abstand zu diesem sowie mit gegenseitigem Abstand angeordnet und parallelogrammartig mit rautenförmigem Umriß versehen Durchbrüche (2) ausgebildet sind, und daß die die Verbindungsstücke (1) begrenzenden Seitenflächen (23) mit plattenförmigen Stegen (9, 10) besetzt sind, die in Längsrichtung der Verbindungsstücke mit Abstand aufeinanderfolgend und alternierend in zwei verschiedenen Ebenen liegen, von denen sich die eine, die die einen Stege (9) aufnimmt, auf der einen Seite der die Breite (B) der Verbindungsstücke unterteilenden Längsmittellinie (19) und die andere, die die übrigen Stege (10) aufnimmt, sich auf der anderen Seite der Längsmittellinie (19) befindet.
